Fantastic experience: So I've been hesitant to get my haircut since my last barber moved away. I got Jazmine and she knew exactly what I meant, made good suggestions and is nice to talk to. Not sure when I'll get chance to come back but it was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Great experience starting with front desk Miroslava who knew who I was and greeted me by name giving that personal touch and made me a great cocktail while I waited. As far as service i had the pleasure of getting taken care of by artist Janine, who made sure to ask exactly what i was looking for and also took the time to care if certain products she used would cause any reaction to my skin. Overall it's a great place to get any service and relax for a while. Definitely a place I recommend to all who are looking for a 1 stop shop.

Negative experience: The worst service ever! They sell you the “illusion “ of great service but they fall way, way, way short!! The person that did the haircut couldn’t stop talking about his tip… (cringe).. qnd when you bring it up to the “receptionist “ she says “oh we didn’t do all that because we did the special pricing” when the description of the service clearly states what it includes… so.. its FALSE ADVERTISING at it’s best… If I would let a 5 year old cut my hair, it would have been done better! Save your money for something else.. NOT THIS!

So we talked it about and came to a better cut style. It came out great and Imma rock it till I need another touch up.

Negative experience: ***UPDATE*** Called the shop asking for the person that replies to the reviews shortly after reading their reply. The person on the phone said "i think they're busy" and stayed quiet for a bit. I said "uhhhhh", "would you like to leave a message?" No thank you. Ya'll had an opportunity to make it right the first time. Just because a business claims it's an upscale location, doesn't mean you'll get an upscale product. Let me preface by stating this is not my cup of tea. This was a much appreciated Christmas gift and gesture. This is in no way against the person that gifted the haircut. So, here we go. My appointment was at 1pm, didn't get seated until 1:15. Simple guy, #3clippers on the side, take off 1/4" off the top. There are multiple high peaks on the sides where a measured clipper was used. How that happens...beats me. I guess why bother clipping and cutting the hair around and behind the ears. And the top?! Cant tell anything was cut. The coupon/1st time email stated was a 45 minute "experience" , done by 1:50. Find a local barber instead of throwing your money away here. Wow!!! A hot towel!!! Maybe, wow me with a good haircut. Never again.

Fantastic experience: My appointment from start to finish was amazing!!! I got the jackhammer package as a gift and it was possibly one of the best gifts I’ve ever had. I have never had a pedicure before and only one manicure in my life, but this was such an amazing experience I’ll definitely be coming back. I had Mel as my artist and she was above and beyond anything I could have expected. She was so patient, funny and down to earth our time flew!!! I highly recommend if you get the chance allow her to work her magic! She is a 100 out of 10!!!!!

I personally love having the membership, makes it so easy to set up appointments with the app. My favorite service is the premium mani/pedi, both Brenda and Daisy are great at providing those services. They are both very friendly and great in conversation.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at Hammer and Nails in El Paso since last year, and I’ve always gotten great service. I use the VIP package for monthly haircuts, manicures, and pedicures, and the result has always been perfect. Zazha has always done a great job on my hair and nails, and I always look to treating myself for styling and grooming services there. I’ve been searching for someone who could cut and style the way I’ve wanted, and finally found Zazha who did a perfect job from day one. H&N is a bit pricier than your average barber shop, but you’re paying for more of a premium “pampering” experience. Prices for memberships and services are clearly posted, so there are no surprises. If you’re looking for a “treat yourself” experience and not just a haircut, this is right up your alley.

Negative experience: Intellectually Dishonest. I ordered the "First time Haircut, which is a $45 promotion." Arrived on time, checked in, presented with a beverage, sat down and waited. 15 minutes later, received a cancellation text, so I walk up to the desk and inquire. She checks it out and sorts it out with the stylist, and so I'm up and go to the chair. Stylist apologizes. And proceeds to tell me how she's had a bad day with first time haircuts, and had two "No Shows." And proceeds to tell she had feared I was the third... Perhaps they received a similar text while waiting in the lobby... So I sit down, and she asks me a few questions related to medical history, diabetes? High blood pressure? Hemophiliac? And ask about allergies to lavender or other oils. I let her know I do not do CBD anything, and she says she will note it in my profile. She then proceeds to ask me about my hair and how I would like it. I provide feedback. And then gracefully proceeds to asks me what are we doing with your beard, so I provide feedback. I get my haircut and my beard grooming completed. Upon the completion of this service, it is now time to pay. I walk up and she says, your total is $90 and how much would you like to tip? I respond, "haha, I got the "First Time Haircut" promotion, but the cancellation text might have affected the price." She lets me know, "yes we have you for the promotion first time haircut, and that usually runs $xxx. And you also got the first time beard promotion which is also $45 and usually runs, $xxx. And then the cashier chimes in, but you can switch to the membership for two services for $67/month, but you'll have to remember to cancel or you'll be automatically charged next month. So at this point, I don't trust their business practices, because it appears they are being intellectually dishonest with the customers. A little bait and switch... With the first time customers who are unfamiliar with their cost structure. So I take my licks, pay the full price, tip the stylist $25 cash cause the time in the chair getting a haircut and beard worked well, so I tip well to let them know, you could've made a lot more in tips from me in the future, had you been honest with me. I don't see myself going there again, unless I'm in a bind. Anyway, proceed with caution. Honestly, I like the haircut. I like the beard trim. She did a great job. I probably would've left with a membership, but I don't do business with companies/staff I can't trust.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to three different salons and seen four different stylists. Finally, H&N is where you can get a beautiful short cut for women. Thank you Zina for the great service and cut. Also enjoyed a very nice natural manicure from Brenda. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Tracy has been doing all my haircuts for a year now and I'm always impressed with how sharp I end up looking every time. If i feel like going for a different style I simply show her a picture of what I want and she makes it happen. I recommend her 100% if you're thinking about stopping by. Booking an appointment is a breeze online. All I have to do is pick the time/date, select my stylist Tracy on the drop down and walk right in. No lost time having to sit and wait. This place is the Rolls Royce of places to get a haircut. Inside there's a bar which is pretty rad even though I don't drink and a section for manicure/pedicure services on big comfortable recliners. They also have a unique selection of colognes and hair products for sale which I do treat myself to sometimes. The real deal for a high class perfect haircut.
