Fantastic experience: I showed up for my appointment and due to medical reasons my barber was unable to be there. I explained it was a hair cut and beard trim for my wedding. Mario the owner offered to cut my hair and beard if I could wait until after his next appointment. He stayed late after hours to take care of me. This was the best experience I've ever had. Please come here and given your patronage. You won't be disappointed! Thank Mario!

Negative experience: Clearly this barber shop is quite popular in Eugene, and I can understand why. They know how to give good short-length haircuts and buzzes. They do not, however, know how to cut long hair. I came into Renegade with about a years worth of hair growth. It went past my shoulders and was quite full. I asked for a significant cut, providing numerous reference photos as for the style and length that I wanted (base of the neck roughly) The barber who gave me the cut unfortunately did not seem to understand what I was looking for, as he turned me away from the mirror and went to work. By the end of it, I was down $45 and left with what can be only be described as a glorified bob cut, something completely different that any of the photos or requests that I had made. Needless to say, I will be wearing hats for the next few weeks until my hair grows back to a reasonable length for restyling. Overall, go here if you want buzzes and fades, and avoid it if you want anything else.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Mario for close to 15 years. The guy knows how to cut hair! Always tight, fresh, and dialed in. Mario’s professional and very kind. The shop itself has a modern feel with a great vibe from the staff. Mario will always welcome you and offer a drink from the fridge while you wait. They use an online booking system called Resurva which is awesome. It has Mario’s full availability for a few months out so you can plan ahead for holidays are personal events.

Fantastic experience: I've had alot of bad experiences at other places so I decided to try out Renegade because of the good reviews and I'm happy to see why they are rated so highly. I came in with long messy hair and had no idea what i wanted but Hero had a plan and gave me an excellent cut and beard trim. Very friendly atmosphere and good vibes. So if your barbers not available, any one of the other barbers will get you right with no worries or doubts! First thing when I entered the building was being greeted by the staff and offered a cold drink while waiting for my appointment. . I got my hair cut by Joey, and he was great!
