Signature Barbering

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience with this place taking my 11 year old son to get his haircut. The barber (james) was cussing at my son after I walked away. My son told me later after we left that the guy was talking bad about me and cussing about me to my son because I mentioned halfway thru the cut that it was looking like a bowl cut. This man is in the business of service and he should recognize that the customers opinion matters. The haircut turned out decent but to find out that this grown man was cussing at my 11 year old son is another problem that will be taken up with the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology especially since when I called to ask to speak with the manager I was denied by the little girl that answered the phone. I then asked for the managers name and she denied me that too. They can protect employee privacy and that's fine but the board can investigate my complaints and thats what they do.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting my hair cut by Kasie for over 15 years, and I honestly won’t let anyone else touch my hair. She’s the best — consistent every single time, pays attention to detail, and always makes sure I leave looking clean. She’s also been cutting my sons’ hair since he was little, and he flew home to get cut. The shop itself is always clean, has a good vibe, and all the barbers in good moods and professional. Definitely the best spot around.

Jojo L was incredibly patient, gentle, and professional the entire time. He never rushed and took the time to make sure my client felt comfortable and safe. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and respects their unique needs. The haircut turned out great, and the whole experience was stress-free. Fantastic experience: I’ve struggled to find a good barber here in Victorville, but when I looked up barbershops and Signature Barbershop showed up, I had to try it. Benz is by far and arguably the best barber I’ve ever had. If you ever need a barber in the high desert, Benz is the way to go! 10/10

Fantastic experience: Just got a cut from Ernesto Aguirre (@ernniblendz) and he really did his thing. Fade was super clean, lineup was sharp, and he took his time to make sure everything was solid. Chill vibe too didn’t feel rushed or like just another client. One of the best cuts I’ve had in a while. I’m definitely coming back to him. Appreciate the work, bro.

Negative experience: Horrible!!!! I came in knowingly that they have done 1year cuts. I asked nicely if someone was willing to cut and none of these professional barbers were able to cut my sons hair. The girl in the front told if im willing to come back when someone is willing to cut his hair is there I said yes, but then she couldn't give me a name or date just kept repeating when it's slow.

Negative experience: How is It humanly possible that this is one of the best rated barber shops in the high desert? Seriously worst haircut I have had in over 10 years. Perhaps I'm just too spoiled with classically trained barbers who trim you up with actual razors use the hot towel style your hair afterwards but even with that , I still had to go home and spend almost an hour re-shaving the sides and touching up everything with a straight razor to get rid of all the missed hairs and line it up nicely. I should have skipped this place and I should have known being in the mall it was not going to be good. Definitely not $35 well spent if you have to go home and fix it.

Positive experience: Thank you Damien for taking my son in with special needs. Damien was VERY patient with him. It's really hard to find understanding service at some places. But Damien was great. Thanks! The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the receptionists. First when i call I specifically asked for someone who has experience with autistic children. I had to ask 4 times on the phone because the girl kept saying she had someone in mind but not confirmed if they had the experience. Although Damien was great the receptionists lied and said hes had experience with autistic kids. Aside from that she could barely hear anything I was saying on the phone because it's so loud in the shop on her end. I had to repeat myself a few times. Could've been a better experience without receptionists attitude when I got there as well.

Fantastic experience: Only shop we go to the wait is fast and good to see many barbers in 1 spot for all.

Fantastic experience: This place is a gem. Yes, they are almost always busy. But it's for a good reason. Plus, there are so many barbers that the wait time is super fast. My son's and husband all liked their cuts.

Negative experience: I brought my son for a simple haircut, they sat him right away, but my goodness..... the person cutting his hair was just on his damn phone and chit chatting his life away with another employee! He didn't get started with my son's haircut til 20 minutes after he was sat down... Some of these fellas need to stop getting distracted while working. It's not fair to have us wait so long for them to even start cutting people's hair. It's very unprofessional and rude to the customers! We're literally just watching them chat with their buddies. This will be the last time we come here and definitely not recommending this place to anyone... sorry to the rest that are actually working and taking care of their customers.

Fantastic experience: My son is severely autistic has never really had anybody cut his hair before.. go see Abraham. He was amazing with my son. Did an excellent job on someone who can't sit still for long period of time . Highly recommend this place. Very friendly people clean areas. Right now they're having a back to school special.

Negative experience: y'all hire anyone huh Been here twice in 2 years they don't fail me to when it comes to a bad hair y'all won't get no more of my money if cutting hair is not your best skill uber is hiring leaving the chair with what u didn't ask for is disrespectful and bad for business

Fantastic experience: My son, and enjoy getting our haircut by Muk!

Negative experience: They're honestly really good with my son they make him look very nice and they're incredibly nice to him. What I don't like is in the middle of cutting his hair they are on their cellphones. Always stopping to text, change the music they're listening to with their air pods in or on a call. It's totally unprofessional and it isn't right that a haircut that should normally take 30-40ish minutes takes over an hour because they won't just focus on getting his hair done. A text really can't wait till after they're done with a customer?

Fantastic experience: Today I got a haircut at SB barbershop and so did my 2 Boyz. The skilled haircuts were performed by my oldest son LUIS OLMOS and yes I did pay for all the haircuts to bless my son profession cause that’s what a parent does for there children to bless and show support. And what I am going to say in this review is true not because he is my son but he does a very good and clean job so clean that he takes his time and comes out perfect any style of haircut. I pray that you be blessed with many more clients mijo LUIS JR and may god always keep you safe

Positive experience: Great atmosphere and very friendly. This has been the 3rd time my family has been there. Edger is our barber for my family. He does an awesome job, no complaints from my family, and they are very picky. One issue is the appointment. I need to call in to make them. I'm not sure if do to all stylist they have. I try using the Google appointment, and that doesn't work at all. Booksy was an appointment way of making our original barber, but he moved and needed to find a different place. My con is making an appointment, and it is a little pricey. Overall, we are happy.

Negative experience: Dumpster juice. If you want to be surrounded by “Edgar’s” and tools all while getting a mediocre cut IF you’re lucky, this is the place for you. Just spend a little more money and invest in a good barber down the hill.

Negative experience: Before I rant this place is good only on certain types of haircuts but they cannot cut with scissors I came into this barbershop asking for not much to be cut and a way different hairstyle. When I came in everything was fine and I sat down showed the guy a photo of a hairstyle I wanted with the same textured hair as mine. He first cut it way too short and originally was going to cut it shorter until I told him to cut it only a little which he understood. After the haircut he admitted himself my hair didn’t look like the one in the photo. My hair looks like an outgrown buzz cut definitely not going here again REPEAT THEY CANNOT CUT WITH SCISSORS. Also some people in there cut good but some don’t just a warning ❌

Negative experience: My wife took our son in today and he has multiple cuts on the back of his neck. We haven't been here since our favorite barber left but she was booked this week, so we took the chance and came back. After today we will never return. I don't have the barber's name but parents be vigilant of how your kid is being treated by these barbers.

She can cut and layer long hair AND she checks in every step of the way to make sure you are happy with your cut! I took both of my boys to her and could not be more pleased! She can do a mean fade and can cut men’s long hair like no one else in the HD! I appreciate the owner as well for making our young kiddos feel welcomed!

Positive experience: After more than 20 years, I have a new place to get my hair cut (what's left of it amyway). Scheduling an appointment is easy online. It's well organized with a concierge working the door. Even as a walk-in they treat you good and smoothly work you into an available chair.

Negative experience: In the past year I've probably had my hair cut here less than 10x, only had 2 good experiences and the rest drove me away. When they leave patches and hair that's in between length of how you wanted your hair cut evenly for a $30 price tag it says that there's no quality for your money, on top of that they ask for tips. 1 of the best barbers isn't even there anymore and I wouldn't take the chance on seeing the only other good one working but being assigned to a different barber as they have a rotation. I turned to Supercuts and actually paid less for a well executed haircut, they showed me and chopped off the errors that were made at signature barbering, and when I tipped it was about the same price as paying for a haircut without a tip as signature barbering.

Fantastic experience: Baraber Jojo Love is beyond the greatest!! He fixed my 15 year old sons hair after getting a terrible cut given by Heavy Hitters Barber Shop. Jojo not only fixed what I thought to be unfixable but he restored my sons confidence about his hair before school starts back up. Jojo then only charged me the partial amount that the other barber shop disrespectfully returned after their traumatizing mistake. Jojo is a true artist with integrity and professionalism. We are new loyal clients. Referrals for days!!!! Thank you Jojo.

Fantastic experience: Rolando, has been my barber for 10yrs. At that time I had hair and very picky on who cut my hair. When I met Rolando that was the first thing I told him and all he said is.. "I Got You" and he did. Rolando is a great technique barber..kinda reminds me of the old school barbers from back in the day.
