Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere and the barbers were FANTASTIC, especially with my son. He was a bit scared about coming but Stewart came outside and very gently helped my son feel more confident about getting his hair cut. Stewart got on the ground to be eye level with my son, spoke gently and encouragingly to him, and even offered to move some of their decor around to help him feel more comfortable. We will DEFINITELY be returning for my son's next haircut.

Fantastic experience: I have had great experiences with Lane Corson and Matt Brown! Matt trimmed and shaped my beard for my wedding. My bride was extremely pleased with it! WoodsViking’s beard balm and soap are first rate compared to what’s available on the market. I have largely made them my go to. ***Update 6-20-25*** I have recently reached six months of beard growth. Erica gave my beard a light trim to help reign in the flyaways. I am really glad that she did!!! Photos in the grey shirt reflect before the detailed haircut and beard trim . Photos in the polo shirt are from when she finished. I am very satisfied with the results!!!

Negative experience: I don’t leave reviews much but $65 for this was really ridiculous, I haven’t been to a barbershop in five years and this is exactly why really nice place and kind people, but the haircut was outrageous and was not worth the money whatsoever. And didn’t even get what I asked for.

Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest, I’m rarely happy with my haircuts. That’s mostly because of my hair itself, but today I received the best cut of my life. If you have hair that is difficult to manage or style, I highly recommend Stephanie. I have paid nearly $300 for a cut in Beverly Hills before, and it was nowhere near as good as the one I received here.

Negative experience: I’m not the kind of person to leave bad reviews ever. I’ve always thought if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all but i wanted to spare the next person from going through what i just did. My haircut took 4 minutes from start to finish and like an idiot i paid without looking at it first because the guy cutting it was clearly high on something so i wanted to get out of there. It took about 6 months to get my hair where it looked good and got destroyed in 4 minutes.

Negative experience: We didn’t get the guys name, unfortunately, but my husband asked for them to clean his beard up, but they completely chopped off his beard. My son had a picture of what he wanted and there are wild hairs all over and certainly not like the picture. $140 down the drain.

Fantastic experience: Took our son on his first real barbershop haircut and we had Gabe cut his hair. My son is almost two and he was not having it, crying and screaming the whole time, gave me anxiety being around others while he was getting his hair cut but Gabe was awesome and assured me everything was ok and it was normal for toddlers to do that on their first couple cuts. The other barbers assured me as well everything was ok and as they have kids of their own that did the same. Gabe was fast and took his time to make sure it looked good and even offered to do more as long as we were comfortable. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: You must go here! Today was my first time at this barber shop, and Joshua cut my hair and trimmed my beard. He did an absolutely amazing job. 10/10 service, atmosphere, and a great haircut. It's also very reasonably priced. I really enjoyed my experience today and I will be coming back again. Fantastic experience: I took my soon-to-be two year old for his second haircut ever, and it was a disaster. He cried and shook almost the entire time, but everyone in there was so incredibly patient and understanding. They took such good care of my guy and he walked out with the best cut! We will absolutely be coming back, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: First experience coming to woodsviking (my wife has been taking my son for months). Came in during lunch rush, and Matt sat me right down and got to work on a cut and beard trim. Never had such an all-star treatment in my life. From the scissor cut for an even result, to the beard trim and cleanup that I’ve never had, to the single blade razor work and hot towel. I can say I was not the most helpful in describing how i wanted my first beard trim, but Matt knocked it out of the park on the first try. Cannot recommend the place enough for the atmosphere, service, and the team environment everyone had going on. I won’t get my hair cut anywhere else long as I live in Murfreesboro.

Fantastic experience: Quality cuts, and I have been calling this barber shop my main place to go for the last 4 years. Matt is my go-to guy, very friendly and very efficient. Gabe is also a great barber that I would recommend if you cannot find anyone. Every barber is very friendly and attentive to your needs. If you get a beard trim, you have to get the hot towel. I would recommend walk-ins, however, due to how busy it can get, it might be very difficult to get in. You can find all the barbers and their services online, as well as their availability.

The barbers have been welcoming and good at either talking or not depending on my mood. My boys now go here and while the scheduling app isn't easy to use the work done continues to be stellar

He’s great at what he does and takes his time to listen, but gets you in and out while also making you feel relaxed. He’s a talented barber and brings good vibes. The music and people at Woodsviking are great every visit. I love the community the shop seems to have.

Positive experience: The guys here are welcoming and the look of the place is great for a man cave barber shop, haha. I had a head straight razor shave done and asked for a beard trim. They did a good job and had me looking good. The only reason I left off a star is I did end up with 2 obvious red cuts right on my forehead, about a half-inch each, where the barber slipped the razor a bit. It happens, and they healed up after a few days. Even so, I'd go back.

Fantastic experience: Woodsviking Barbershop is a great place. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Even though I got a basic men’s haircut, Gabe’s attention to detail, knowledge and experience was very impressive. I’ll definitely be doing business with Woodsviking and Gabe again.

Fantastic experience: Gabe has to be one of the best barbers around. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, asked me great questions, and delivered better than what I asked for. I struggle with anxiety from time to time and it came at the worst time possible; when I was in the chair getting my haircut. Halfway through I had to stand up to catch my breath and gather myself and Gabe was very understanding and could empathize with me. We continued the haircut and he made it apparent that he cared about my well being. Even offering to let me take a break. Woodsviking is a great place with great people- you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Very nice atmosphere, I was a few minutes late and thought I would have to reschedule. But Luke found me and still did my beard trim. It was a first time I have had anyone trim it. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it came out. The atmosphere is very nice and you can tell that all the staff were like friends with their clients. I will definitely be back next time I need a trim.

Fantastic experience: I took my 18 month old for his first haircut. We didn't make an appointment because if I waited I would have change my mind on cutting his hair. A gentleman named Caleb helped us and he was amazing. My little one was a little squirmy but Caleb was calm and very nice the entire time. I've always heard nothing but good things about Woodviking barbershop and I can now say I know forsure they are true and I will definitely be taking my baby back

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this barbershop with my teenage son, and we had a great experience! The atmosphere is unmistakably masculine, reminiscent of a Viking man cave, with cohesive decor, walls, and even ceiling design. The male stylists were friendly and enthusiastic, engaging in lively conversations about sports. We walked in without an appointment and were promptly attended to. My son was thrilled with his haircut, which was exactly what he wanted. They also offer beard trims and other services. While the $30 price tag seemed a bit steep, the relaxing ambiance and my son's satisfaction made it well worth it. He definitely wants to return.

Negative experience: I went in, explained clearly what I was after in depth. And then the barber decided to do what he felt like doing. Butchered my hair and completely ignored what I was after - then even after I mentioned I was unhappy with the cut, proceeded to say sorry that I felt that way and pushed payment and asked for a tip. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Walked in on a busy Saturday for a walk-in haircut. I’ve always had pretty long hair so transitioning to a shorter style has always been pretty stressful for me. I told Luke who had made room for me in his chair that I was looking for a pretty basic hair style and he took it upon himself to give me the best haircut I’ve had in a VERY long time. Maybe my life. He suggested a style I wasn’t familiar with and made it happen. Jacob who was the barber next to me is the reason I stopped by, also a master of his craft and an excellent human as well. If you’re on the fence and wondering about this place, stop in. You won’t regret it.

Negative experience: 25 mins late on my appointment, haircut went 30 mins over the 35 mins it was supposed to taken not sure how any barber can mess up a mid fade but by God, Quentin must be retarded. Did not listen to a single thing I said that I wanted. Hands down the worst barbershop in Murfreesboro.

We have been looking for a talented barber for my boys for 2 years straight now & have found it. Very nice shop, friendly and talented staff and most importantly they have the skills. I watched the other barbers there doing everything from bald fades and long beards to mullets and they all killed it.

Fantastic experience: I live in Knoxville, but wanted to get a haircut and beard trim for my son who lives in Murfreesboro. I emailed and asked about this and them helping him with beard care. Aaron Dabney emailed back and was very helpful. He had one of his barbers call me to get it set up. TANNER COLEMAN called and set EVERYTHING up for me. He was amazing! When my son went in he had a great experience with Tanner, who helped him find the best product for his beard. He said he will DEFINITELY be going back and his beard had never been so soft. They made my Christmas gift perfect! Love these gentlemen and this establishment.

Awesome family atmosphere, I have them cut my son's hair as well. If you aren't happy with something the owners are great people and will work to make it right.

Fantastic experience: Hands down best place in the area, booking appointments are easy through there site and you can even set reoccurring dates which makes it that much better for me. I moved here from South Florida about a year ago and at first struggled to find a good barber. Glad I found Woodsviking Barbershop, I get my cuts from Shawn and never have a complaint, he is the man! The owners make sure each and every Barber/stylist in their shop knows their stuff on how to go about giving a good solid beard trim.
