Fantastic experience: Walked out with a decent cut from nick. He did great and was very talkative. Fast haircut to took maybe 15 min. I will be asking for nick next time I come in.

Positive experience: I don’t want to ruin the algorithm since I haven’t been here myself, but word of warning to any potential customers: this shop messed my boyfriend’s cut up so bad he wants to buzz his hair He can’t do that. No no. THAT’S THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED?! How can you botch a guy’s hair cut so bad not once but twice that he wants to go BALD?! You can’t rob a man of his confidence so severely that he wants to go bald, it’s unrefined. Justice for my boyfriend ✊

Negative experience: Sad to say that after I had asked for a trim, my length had been almost completely removed. I should have said something while I was there but I cannot see without my glasses, making it very hard to see the progress of the hair cut and by the time I could see my hair, it was to late. Customer service is decent and the haircut is not inherently "bad" but I wish I could have gotten a haircut that I asked for and not something that the stylist felt like doing.

Negative experience: Can’t follow simple instructions. Asked for mid fade from a 0 and a trim on top. Lady proceeds to give me a botched line up (which I didn’t ask for) , shaves my hairline back an inch, then got offended when I told her it was bad.

Fantastic experience: Harvest was my stylist, she did really good, cut off two inches and did medium layers and face framing, the haircut looked so good and made my hair feel lighter, also wanted to mention I have curly hair and she said she doesn’t work with it often and still did amazing, thank you.

Negative experience: Do NOT come to this place! Stay away! Hands down the worst barber company I’ve ever had to deal with! I asked Mariah, to see if I can come in for a hair color, she said yes. I come in, she starts working on my hair, so I asked we’re doing all of it right? To which she says “oh you didn’t specify.” Isn’t it your literal job to know these things!? Not to mention she can’t hear good at all! So then we got into a bit of a disagreement, and because I told her “I just want my hair silver, that’s it.” She took it all personal, got all bent out of shape, refused to finish my hair because she’s overly sensitive, and didn’t even have the common decency to finish blow drying my hair. So I asked the poor excuse of a manager to do it. And Mariah kept trying to mean mug me like she’s 12 so I said “apparently it’s rocket science for some people to blow dry my hair.” So then that poor excuse of a “manager” kicked me out with my hair all wet. Then I called Tony and he was literally no help whatsoever! They clearly don’t care about customer service! Don’t let them tell you otherwise! Yeah, I’m gonna be angry, you guys don’t know what you’re doing! And Tony has the nerve to say “I’ve been doing this for 58 years.” Yeah, is that why your staff is terrible and you guys don’t know what you’re actually doing! Not to mention he openly admitted to being bias because they’re his staff and they “pay” his bills, yeah and the customers don’t right? Makes perfect sense to me. He didn’t even want to hear my side of the story, told me “you’re in the wrong.” And just said have a nice day. This guy has the nerve to charge $42 for a simple haircut! Save your money, go elsewhere. Somewhere where you’re actually valued, the staff knows what they’re doing, and the manager isn’t bias. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS! Go to “On the Edge” they actually value customer service. Also a prime example of how you know they can’t take constructive criticism, look at their response to this review. Also, gotta love the lack of accountability from the owner Tony, as well as his terrible staff. Prime examples of what I am talking about. Notice how they suck up to the positive reviews, but the negative ones are always the customers fault. Go to Blended Beauty in the mall, they’re ten times better and actually know what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. One of the best haircuts my husband has had, the stylist understood exactly what he was going for. The whole experience was so comfortable — great conversation and real attention to detail. He has gotten so many compliments already! Definitely his go-to place from now on.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with Danielle on 09/28 to have my hair colored. I provided a reference photo of a very light brown shade I was hoping to achieve. Unfortunately, the end result was completely off: the top of my hair was much darker than requested, the midsection still showed remnants of previous highlights, and there were obvious orange patches throughout. I addressed my concerns with Danielle , and she agreed to fix the color the next day. Since the salon was closing soon, she asked me to text her to confirm the timing. I followed up the next day as instructed—no response. After waiting until 3 PM, I called the salon directly. Danielle admitted she saw my message but “forgot” to reply, which was unprofessional. She offered to see me at 4:30 PM that day. I arrived early (4:11 PM), but she didn’t show up until 4:45 PM. The correction was also unsatisfactory. There was no hot water available during the rinse, and she only partially dried my hair. I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt, assuming the incorrect tone was due to improper rinsing or incomplete drying. However, after a few washes, and significant amount of dye washed out in the shower, after drying, it revealed an uneven and extremely dark color—almost black, which is not what I requested. I reached out to Danielle again to discuss possible solutions. Unfortunately, I’ve been ignored. She has not replied. At this point, I will need to pay someone else to fix my hair for the third time, at an even higher cost than what I originally paid Danielle. To make matters worse, I spoke with the salon’s manager and was told I would receive a follow-up call—still nothing. I’ve always supported Aguilar’s, not only for my own hair but also for my children and extended family. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will no longer be returning. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability. I do not recommend this salon. Since I’ve received neither a refund nor a proper correction, I will be escalating this issue further.

Fantastic experience: Went to Aguilars on a recomendation from my supervisor at work as i just moved to Pueblo in July. I had an appointment with Danielle. I have been very nervous getting a beard trim. Have had lots of bad past experiences with other barbers attacking my bear with clippers and i alway feel like they take too much off and it does get very long. Danielle took her time and just used her hands and scissors. Not only did i feel alot better after my cut i also feel like my beard is gaining the length im looking for and the shape that im looking for as well. She is amazing and ill be taking the rest of my family to her as well. 10 stars if it was possible.

Negative experience: Man, I remember when getting a haircut was simple. You walked in, sat down, maybe waited your turn, and left with a fresh cut without your wallet crying. Nowadays? Barbers act like they’re running a luxury spa instead of a neighborhood shop. Everything is appointments only now—like I need to schedule my life around a fade. What happened to just walking in? It’s inconvenient as hell. People have jobs, kids, random stuff that comes up—life doesn’t always fit neatly into a calendar block. But nah, miss your slot by ten minutes and they either cancel on you or hit you with some “late fee.” Late fee? For a haircut? It’s ridiculous. Not to mention prices keep climbing like they’re charging rent for every snip of the scissors. A basic cut that used to be $15–20 is now $40–50 before tip, and if you want a beard line-up too? Forget it, might as well take out a loan. The vibe has shifted too. Instead of being community spots where you could catch up and vibe while waiting, shops now feel like you’re intruding on someone’s private booking. No laughs, no conversations, no “barbershop talk”—just stiff, business-only transactions. They forgot that part of what made barbershops special was the social experience. I get it—everyone’s trying to make a living. But at some point, it stops being about the craft and community and just turns into greed. Forcing appointments, charging premium prices, treating every cut like it’s some VIP celebrity service—it’s killing the whole culture. Honestly, I shouldn’t need a calendar invite, two reminders, and a bank account with breathing room just to get my hair cut.

Fantastic experience: Another great haircut and beard trim at Aguilar by Mr. Aguilar himself. Good, fast walk-ins or great by appointment.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I have been seeing Harvest since a mishap with scissors some years ago. Fortunately I was looking for a new hair dresser since the one I had before hasn’t been heard from since before covid. We have been coming ever since. Great place and people.

Negative experience: Haircut was a different price each time, but for the same services, (same stylist) the last two times I was there. Also, the cut was uneven, I did let Alicia know I was unhappy and would not be back. >>>>>>Extremely Disappointed!!! <<<<<<

Fantastic experience: Aguilar Barber Shop here in Pueblo, has been around since the 70s, Tony Aguilar is an institution here in Pueblo, and is one of the original owners. He has a great crew, he is honest, professional and has a great attitude and personality. 50 years in business doesn't happen by accident.

Negative experience: I thought I would give it try to come in here since my husband is in the military they always do a great job with haircuts! I have had the same hair stylist for over 17 years and today I took a chance on someone else and I really wish I hadn’t. I had showed Mariah 2 photos of what I was wanting and mind you I have had this emo hair cut my whole life… well I walked out of there with shorter hair then expected, bangs and hair wet not styled nor dried. I also have long hairs where bangs were supposed to be. She said “I can’t I don’t have time”. I thought it was included in the price plus the extra that she mentioned with the wash and so on. I walked out crying and my hair is ruined. I just wish that I was taken serious and what I wanted was accounted for. Not giving this place a bad name but please listen to your customers if you don’t know how to do a hairstyle please let someone else takeover or just say “ hey I’m sorry that’s not my cup of tea”. . I was a walk in with my husband and was told to not sign in and immediately went to the young lady at the chair. However, 5 plus starts to the gentleman who does my husbands hair thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: Mariah Lucero did my haircut. I've been going to get my haircut in some barber shop across Pueblo for the last 5 to 6 years. She's one of the two hair stylish I've liked so far. Her attention to detail is a nice touch. Although I have to wait 40 min after the scheduled appointment. But things like that is sometimes expected and it can be improved.

I show her pictures of what I want and she listens, clarifies and makes expert professional suggestions and explanations. I trust her completely to do a painstaking and outstanding job. She is meticulous and does it right the first time all the time. I enjoy every session and pray she never leaves the area - she's irreplaceable!

Fantastic experience: I started going here because it’s hard to find someone you can trust with hair your. Thankfully I found Raeann Garcia! She is great at what she does, very friendly always smiling. Even the other stylists and barbers greet us as soon as we come in. A very welcoming place that’s for sure. I recently brought my daughter to get her haircut this is her second haircut and she’s only six. Not only was Raeann good with me but she was great with my daughter. My daughter loves her hair and was showing everyone around us how beautiful her hair came out. I want to say thanks again to Raeann and the team for making us feel welcome!! We will be back :)

Negative experience: I went in to Raeann with brown long beautiful hair. I wanted to go blonde, I know that's damaging. Raeann promised if we do it in sessions it won't damage my hair much. First session, I wanted blonde remember. She did my roots a caramel brown and lightened my length. $140.00 not what I wanted, but I thought she had a plan, since she's the professional. I even called her after the first one. She assured me she had a plan. I go for my second session($140.00) to get it lighter. Raeann didn't listen again and this time really fried my hair. I had orange yellow platinum blonde colors. So I call her. She says at least let me fix it. I hated the way it looked so I went back she put a toner on that she promised wouldn't be brown. It sure looked brown to me. But again I let the professional do it her way. Because I'm not in cosmetics. I went back to her to tell her, I told her it was not acceptable. It's brown again, burnt off my bangs, I asked for a thick bang not 1 inch bangs. I asked for half my money back. I think half of $310.00 (40 in tips) just $140.00 half. Now I have to look aweful. Plus buy more hair products. I asked her if she would sign off on my hair and told her how can she charge full price when youu messed it up. Not just the color. But I lost about 5 inches of length. My bangs look like crap. No resolution! Cause apparently she's the boss

Fantastic experience: Donovan did a great job on my visit to their establishment. He is located on the south side of Pueblo by O’Reilly auto parts and king soopers. Definitely will be going back as a regular customer. It gave me the old school barber feel that I feel has been missing in today’s society.

Negative experience: The shop owner is really nice and always does a great job, I wish I could say the same about Larry. This is the second time he has messed up on my brother’s hair. The reference photo showed 2-3 inches of hair left on the sides, and Larry buzzed the sides short like a buzz cut and messed up the top too. It’s not a bad haircut by any means, but the opposite of what he wanted. With this while I was getting my hair cut by Nicole ( who did amazing she is a very nice lady) I noticed Larry on his phone while cutting my brothers hair. Very unprofessional. I did speak to the shop owner and he was apologetic and tried to make it right, but there’s only so much you can do to a jacked hair cut.

Negative experience: Well today called ahead of time to see if i can get a hair cut the woman that answered said your better off just walking in so i did waited about an hour no one said anything or even noticed me how ever they kinda just looked at me and thats it ... waste of an hour of my time on a sunday got up walked out ...not very friendly i guess ...im new to pueblo ..still looking for a barber shop ...well to the owners response ...I didn't see no sign in sheet didn't know there was one and yes I've been to all these places here in pueblo with the honest truth .....take it how you want.. it is what it is...I'm just one almost customer sharing my experiences here in pueblo ...now if you want to be butt hurt and minimize the situation ... if it makes you feel better then good for you ...it reflects your good character.....and since you looked at my reviews I looked at yours ...im not the only 1 star rating ...you got a few with pictures at that ...and I must say it might be a blessing that I didn't get your services ..people walked in wanting a hair do....came out with some hair don't s ...lol...those pictures of that couple ...not one mess up but you had both walking out looking like clowns ....lmao..looks like one of your team members lied on there resume...

Negative experience: I should have said something while I was there. I am disappointed ☹️. The hair cut is not what I thought about n felt I did explain well what I wanted. Now I have 2" bangs. With long hair in it. I wanted the bangs the same length. The 2-3" off the bottom of my hair was to be cut off. It was to be layered. She put oil on my hair! I don't have a need for it and I walked out looking awful. Went home looked in the mirror n bust out crying. I didn't expect $85 was a lot for it. I thought you were a school n expected to pay $45-50. Broke me. The $35 over was my gas money/food. I am not willing go back n have Alicia a do over. I told her I didn't like it. I went home and washed the oil out. I looked like I hadn't wash my hair for a month! I know this sounds racist. African American hair use oil like that. I'm just bummed out. At my age, my hair is a self esteem issue!
