Negative experience: Didn't even get to go in and extremely disappointed. My fiancé scheduled an appointment online through Booksy, the site that is *linked* to Fresh Cuts' Google account and was charged $40 for a haircut in advance in order to make his appointment. Received a confirmation text AND email for Saturday, December 6th at 9:30am at this location. We arrived 10 minutes early and the shop was closed, even though the sign on their door (and Google) says they open at 9am on Saturdays. Went downstairs to the beauty salon and the nice woman down there called a shop owner or employee who had no idea that there was an appointment scheduled. Don't pay for a service before it's rendered, especially from a business that doesn't know their own scheduling system. We heard this shop had good reviews but definitely will not be trying this place again. Know before you go. Edit: The owner commented on this post, which I cannot comment back on, "assuring" us that we were not charged for the service but we were. Now we have to dispute the charge to get our money back. So frustrating.

Positive experience: I brought my three kids here today for haircuts ($25 youngest and $35 for the other two). Overall, the barbers were professional and very customer-friendly. A special shoutout to Walter, who was very attentive to detail and made sure the cuts came out just right. The prices are fair for the service provided. The only area I’d suggest improving is cleanliness—while I understand the shop gets busy and customers are waiting, the floor had quite a bit of hair. A quick sweep between clients would go a long way in making the environment feel more hygienic and welcoming. Great experience overall, and I’d definitely recommend them, especially for their professionalism and customer service!

I moved to VA 4 years ago & I had trouble looking for a place that cuts my hair right, as I have a particular style of long hair and short sides. One to this place one time & never looked back. This place knows what they're doing when it comes to cuts & facial cuts. They'll clean you up right, edge without pushing back, and spray cologne for a fresh night out. Tried to call the shop multiple times and didn't get an answer. Don't waste your time here. Edit: Now they're trying to lie saying we spoke and rescheduled - they haven't reached out or bothered to do anything but lie here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to this place twice and got the best haircut I’ve ever had both times. The barbers are really into their craft, it’s obvious they take a lot of pride in what they do. They have nice equipment, in good shape, freshly cleaned and sharpened. Weekends are like a party, weekdays are more low key, so you can pick as you prefer. It’s more expensive than somewhere like hair cuttery but the difference is night and day. If you care about a good cut, give this place a try. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: They might have good pictures of nice hair cuts but customer service is trash. I made an appointment online for my son and I received an email confirmation a couple of minutes after. I went there at my appointment time which was 9:30 am. They had a sign saying they open at 10:00 am. Why in the world would a business have availability online for non working hours? I called at 10:02, no answer. I called again at 11:45 (5times) still no answer. I decided to make another appointment because having a day off during the week is very complicated and really wanted to take advantage of this day. I planned all my appointments accordingly. So, if you don’t are about customer service then continue doing business as usual. So very disappointing at this business.
