Fantastic experience: Stephen is a magician. I’ve been going to him for almost 4 years now and I’ve never gotten a haircut from him that I didn’t like. And that’s saying a lot because I have very difficult, curly hair that I’m really particular about. I’ve changed up styles a lot in the past few years, I don’t ask for the same cut every time, and he always nails it and it looks better than I even thought it would. He’s extremely talented, and passionate about what he does. If you’re looking for a barber that really pays attention to what you’re looking for, and has the expertise to execute that look, I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Negative experience: Called into the salon around 11:45 & was told they had an appointment at 2PM on 10/19. I arrived at 1:35 & checked in. There was confusion with my appt vs another customers appt & I should have left at that moment, but I didn’t. The haircut was started & completed within 20 minutes. It was by far the worst fade I’ve ever gotten. Not to mention he didn’t cut the top, or line my beard up like I asked. The barber said he was a student & only been doing hair for 1.5 months. Everyone has to learn & start somewhere, but in a salon environment & not presented beforehand is the problem. $35 wasted on top of $55 paid to another barber to fix my hair. I asked for a manager or owner & was told they weren’t in today.

I only went in for a shave until Marcus politely explained "why be good when you can be great" lol. Marcus kept things light and entertaining the entire time. Fantastic experience: I got a gift certificate for Father’s Day from my daughter. I saw AJ and got a cut, beard trim with a straight razor shave. She was excellent and treated me like a king. I felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the experience. I have been a hair stylist for 36 years and an instructor for 18 years. AJ was fantastic and I highly recommend her if you go, but the work I saw leave the salon while I was there showed me that they all do great work and love what they do!
