Negative experience: UNQUALIFIED HAIR DRESSERS! I went there because of the high reviews, and I usually never complain but this time the lady butchered my hair extremely bad and the owner herself had to fix my hair as much she could. The owner apologized and gave me a free cut.

Negative experience: Don’t come at 6:45, they will be closed.. After calling in letting them know we were on our way, drove thirty minutes to get a cut!! Wasted our time and money..

Fantastic experience: I went at 1115 on a Sunday. No wait time and the lady did a great job!

Fantastic experience: I have been here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed thus far. The staff is always ready to seat you down and listen to your request. I have had to asked them to touch up certain things and not once has anyone been upset for doing so. That speaks volume about them. The price has been $16, for the most common male haircut. $13 more if you ask for a bear cut as well. Best and faster to pay in cash, they do accept Apple pay, visa and perhaps all wireless payment. I do know they do not accept Master Card. Hope you all enjoy your haircut as I do.

Negative experience: So I went here today, my middle Child got a haircut by a woman named Sim. I attempted to stop her multiple times. She messed up his hairline and pushed it back so now he has an extreme huge forehead. I tried to let her know she was doing it incorrect and he was supposed to get a medium shadow fade I'm not sure what she gave him. There was nothing faded at all. He was extremely unhappy with his haircut. Nearly got in the car and cried. As you seen the picture posted below, his hairline has multiple inventions and then there's a area he's missing here and due to her continuously, pushing it further and further back i'm not saying this is a bad place however this barber Did not do a great job my children will not go to her next time.

Negative experience: Very rude, wanted to go and wash my face but the lady said pay first then you can go, keeper my phone till I get back to pay. Very very pour costumer service. Never try this location again.

Fantastic experience: Mrs Lee is an awesome barber. I went in thinking I was going to get a normal military haircut. She also cleaned up my hairline, mustache, and goatee. She even did a hot towel treatment. She offered to use a straight razor on my haircut (which I do normally prefer), but I didn't have the time. She was very quick, polite, and awesome to talk to. I highly recommend you give this barber shop a chance. I promise you will not be disappointed. They are very reasonably priced for everything you are getting. Negative experience: I WILL NEVER COME BACK. I’ll support someone else’s business. BE CAREFUL of leaving anything here like your phone. I religiously came here every 2 weeks for 2+ years. They’re quick, do a decent job. For $16, nah. There’s a shop a couple blocks down that offers the same cut for $13. Anyways, I swung by for a cut but I made the mistake of accidentally leaving my phone. I picked it up. One of the ladies stopped me and said “you know, in Korea, when someone finds your phone, you pay them 10%. I’m serious.” I mean… I get it… but at the very same time, I support your business religiously AND leave 25% tip, every single time, when realistically, I don’t have to. It’s optional. Every dollar I make as an E-4 is accounted for… I wish I could leave an extra $2-5 dollars for a “finders fee” but I really can’t. And as a reminder… we aren’t in Korea…

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for years. The ladies here know how to cut hair very good and I never need a second look in the mirror. They get the haircut done right the first time. There's never a long wait and they are very nice here.

Negative experience: I asked for her to even my sons hair out and for a medium fade, neither of which she did. Her excuse was his hair needs to grow. In order for his hair to grow , it needs to be even…. She also nicked him in several different places. Will never be going back.

Fantastic experience: Hesitantly brought my 18-month old for a haircut and they were amazing with him. His haircut was perfect, they were patient and accommodating, and we were in and out in less than 20 mins on a Sunday afternoon. My husband, son, and nephew all got haircuts during that time. They also have the best price we’ve seen anywhere in the area.

Negative experience: I went in for just a mid fade nothing on the top I even confirmed whit the lady and she said okay we talked for a bit I explained that I was trying to grow my hair out so there wouldn’t be any confusion and still she cut the top down with out saying anything left the middle part long and ruined my hair completely and I didn’t get a skin fade as I asked for in the first place

Negative experience: Asked to get a typical haircut and showed a picture to make sure the lady understood. She immediately told me it was going to be an additional $4 because my hair was too long. My hair was about 5 inches at the longest. The sign says $16 and no where on it says there’s an up charge for hair being too long. Of course the lady tries to butter you up and asks for a tip. What kind of place does this? I’m posting this the day after because I found a patch of hair behind my ear she completely missed. I’d say 10-20 strands of hair just hanging out there. I know this isn’t Fayetteville, NC where $11 will get you a great haircut with a neck and shoulder massage included, but this is just crazy. Haircut overall quality was 3/10. 5/10 if the hair behind the ears was cut but that’s kind of not forgivable. Never going back to this place.

Fantastic experience: Eastgate Barber & Beauty Shop is a fantastic place to get a haircut! My husband and three sons have been there twice now, and we've been consistently impressed. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they do a wonderful job with the haircuts. What really stands out to me is their patience and understanding, especially with my youngest son who is on the autism spectrum. One of the stylists was absolutely amazing with him. She was so gentle and understanding, and even used a hose attachment on her clippers to minimize the noise, which was a huge help. She made the whole experience so much less stressful for him, and for me! Beyond their excellent service, they're also very efficient. We're in and out quickly, which is a huge plus for a busy family. And they're happy to make adjustments – my husband got his hair cut today and they were happy to take off a bit more when he asked. We've found our go-to barbershop and will definitely be back to Eastgate!

Fantastic experience: Best place to get military haircuts. I went every Thursday for four years while stationed at Cavazos. All the ladies are very nice and do a great job, I always preferred Mo as she always enjoyed conversation. 100% recommend to all service members.

Positive experience: They gave me a lolipop and did a good job on my haircut. No surprises on line ups or anything

Negative experience: I asked for a medium skin fade and she immediately shaved half of my head. Had to sit and endure the feeling knowing it was insanely high. Then I go to leave and she doesn't sanitize my head. Same woman, second time she's destroyed my hair to the point I want to just shave it off. No other bad cuts from anyone but her. Avoid the blonde woman when you first walk in.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been back in the area in years, these are the same ladies, same shop, doing great haircuts!

Positive experience: A very affordable in regulation haircut, but the symmetry and attention to detail was lacking with clear differences between left and right sides. Most noticeable was the trimmer lines carving a right angle into the left side and leaving the right side with a good fade. They were incredibly fast from start to finish in 15 minutes and all of the staff were friendly as well. Overall a fine and affordable place if you need a haircut right now but not the place to go for a haircut before an important event.

Fantastic experience: This is the best barbershop in the area. Affordable, short wait time, and always good service. I live in copperas cove and I will drive all the way there to get my haircut. I won’t go anywhere else. It’s nice having a trustworthy barber shop where you know you will get consistently good service. Plus, they give you candy after the haircut every time. They are experts at giving military haircuts too.

Positive experience: This is my kind of barber shop. They have in and out service. Im not a fan of a barber that takes 45 minutes to do a 5 minute haircut. I didnt get my ears talked off, i got the cut i wanted, quickly and at a fair price. If thats your style, this is your place.

Negative experience: It’s mind blowing to me how something so simple as a low skin bald fade can become a mid/high fade so fast. As soon as I sat down I knew I was in trouble by asking the lady if she used shears and soon as I told her how much off the top she started cutting with no water. That’s a no go my friend now my hair more lopsided than the cowboys offense. I asked her why she didn’t use water and she said am I mad I said no. Then I told her you’re suppose to use water but it’s cool do you she said it’ll still look good. So I sat there and I noticed she started speaking to her lil friend in Korean or something. I asked what are they talking about and she didn’t tell me and her friend asked me what do I do. I said I’m a barber I been cutting for 4 years. She said oh well she’s been cutting for 40. I said that means nothing when y’all rush the haircuts and don’t go for quality. So she said I should probably train her then I said yea I really should and I said don’t worry I’ll fix it when I get home. Got home and couldn’t glue all the hair she chopped off back on. You want quality this not the place. If you don’t care then go for it.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. It's the only place I trust with my hair. As always, with every visit, I got a quality haircut. The employees are always so nice, respectful, and make great conversation while working. I can tell they work hard to make their customers feel comfortable. There's a reason they've been in business for 30+ years, and it's because they do great work, for a cheaper price than most places out there. Also an incredibly convenient location too, right outside of base.

Positive experience: Been coming to this place for a while and it’s hit or miss. If you’re Military and like that “SKIN” fade CSM high and tight, then you’ll be ok here. I like my hair a bit longer, pushing Army regs but staying within….kinda like those Aviation “flyboys” down at the flight line. So, I usually get a cut every week or two. I’ve had my hair cut by almost everyone in there except the old Korean guy. Ive gotten some good haircuts and I’ve gotten some bad ones but not so bad I wouldn’t come back………… To wrap it up, this place caters to the Military and our “MILITARY” style haircuts, any other style is 50-50, imo.

Negative experience: CUSTOMERS BEWARE Asked for a medium skin fade and the hair tips. The hairdresser started shaving vigorously on the same spot until a tag of flesh was pulled along with a couple of bloody scratches from to where she stated that it was the type of shampoo I used (which should have nothing to do with a blade cutting through hair) avoiding all responsibility. upon checkout she told me that Im hood to go without giving me a receipt. The wounds were never disinfected End result was a pushed back hairline, permanent scarring and the worry of this having to happen to anyone else because of someone’s negligence and lack of practice.

Fantastic experience: Recommend getting your haircut done here especially if you're in the military. Price is affordable. If you like your haircut done right this is the place. They know the military standards.

They have great hours and always have the right number of barbers ready to handle the flow of traffic coming in. There is never a long wait. I always go to Lee’s chair because she is experienced and consistent with my haircut, she is very kind….and FAST.

Fantastic experience: Been going here 25+ years fast and great hair cuts. Update for 9 May 2020, finally was able to get a hair cut today. Everything went great, you go in the front door and out the side, Most Chairs have been removed so just a few to keep distance for safety. Was glad to see Ms Lee and all the Employees were doing great and in a very good mood for being out for 2 months. If you need a haircut they are open for business.

Negative experience: It is a friendly place and you do not have to wait too long for a haircut. They give a neck massage but I am not sure if they have any certification for it. I disapproved this practice because I think that professional business have to have certificates for all services. I didn't see if employees have any of them. My husband goes all the time here and I do not like his haircuts. Sometimes it has some oopps but he doesn't see it.

Fantastic experience: Came in they were super nice and welcoming. I asked for a medium skin fade with a hard part the barber did an amazing job and made sure it up to perfection, I highly recommend this barber shop, to anyone who wants a high quality cut with such welcoming people.

Negative experience: Most of the barbers are good. But there is one barber in particular that rushes through all of her cuts. Every time I’m unlucky enough To get this barber, I ask for a fade….. she does not fade. She always leave a solid patchy line around my head. Incase you’re wondering which one it is, don’t sit in the far left chair….

Positive experience: Very nice people. Great location if you work on post and want a "High & Tight". If you want anything other than a "High & Tight", or ask for anything other than a "High and Tight" you are still likely to receive some variant of a "High & Tight". Shop with confidence if you look good with a "High and Tight"!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for the last 3 years. I go to Lee every time and she has always given me the best expierence and best haircut in the area, but their hair cut prices have gone up. Even though they have raised their prices up several times over the time I have been going here, I still give them a 5 star review because they really do give great haircuts.

Negative experience: It took 37 seconds to destroy my hair. My hard part looks like Ray Charles or Helen Keller did it. My take a quarter of a inch off the top turned to a inch and a half and “skin fade” apparently means drag a cheap disposable .99 cent 2 blade razor all over my head as fast as humanly possible.

Fantastic experience: Ladies and Gentlemen these are hands down the best barbers I've ever been to in years!!! I showed them a picture of the hair style I wanted and they went above and beyond!! I will only being coming here from now on!! And when it came to masks they were on point! I felt amazing walking out!!

Negative experience: I asked for a low taped ball fade. One side low one side high... It was done super on one side and the other I have to now somehow correct to make even as it should have been. I went to them on a Sunday being new to the city. Very pushy snappy barber and asked for tip and requested tip from me. Thumbs down! Kyong was the barber!

Fantastic experience: First of all, the business looks super nice and clean on the inside, you will be suprised vs how the outside looks. The workers there are extremely nice. The lady who cut my hair was extremely nice. Gave me and my wife lollipops . As for the haircut itself, I got a military cut. It was basically what i wanted it to be, and well worth the 12 dollars they ask for considering you get a razor shave, hot towel, and alcohol to disinfect your hair, not to mention their service is extremely fast. 100% worth the extra two dollars over the on post barbers.

Negative experience: I came to eastgate and got my haircut today! I asked the lady how much it will be she said 12! When she finished I was not satisfied at all and I went to pay she told me 22! I paid 22 and went to my car! She then followed me to my car and said I am supposed to give a tip! This the worse haircut I have ever had

Negative experience: NO attention to detail.. I have brought my son here a few times and there's always hairs left that havent even been cut.. not too mention the lineup.. My son is 4 and he sits completely still so when I got up to check before she finished I made sure to point out that the line up on the left and right side didnt even match. The lady said she would fix it and idk what she thought she did but it just made things worse. Not planning on going back.
