I can say, after years of getting my hair cut and being disappointed, she has single-handedly renewed my faith in the haircut industry. In fact, before Nube, I had been making my girlfriend cut my hair, because at least she would do an OK job. Soufi’s the place to go, for sure. Honestly, not sure if it’s that Nube doesn’t ask me a million questions about my personal life, or if it’s that I come out looking like a new man, but she will do you right.

Positive experience: I gave them a shot because my barber is in Shelton but I moved to Stamford and unfortunately the haircut was subpar and it takes a long time but if you like being pampered this is the place for you the guys are nice and friendly too a little pricey but it makes sense I guess for their location

Negative experience: Normally wouldn't leave a bad review over a haircut but this was a complete shit show: Barber cut off well over an inch up top after I said I only wanted a half inch trim. He barely cut my sides even, though I showed him a photo of the burst skin fade I wanted and specifically said to use scissors, so now I had a weird bob look with my side and top almost being the same length. Had to stop him and say because he cut it too short I'd prefer he just do a mid skin fade to salvage it, he says he'll take care of it but then just uses the clippers to shave it down, not even doing what I asked for a second time. I pulled my phone out and looked up photos of what I was talking about but he just ignored me. Finished up and noticed he didn't even cut both sides evenly. I tried to show him, using my fingers to hold up my hair length so he can see how obviously the lengths were different, but he just walked to the register to ring me up. I just stayed quiet, paid and gave him his tip so I could leave and calm down. If you see a guy with an apron-vest combo packing all his things, highly suggest asking for someone else.

Out of the aprox. 50 haircuts i’ve got, from trims to buzzcuts, there has never been a single haircut i’ve regretted. This place is a CONFIDENCE BOOSTER. The barbers are skilled professionals and are the kindest people you will ever meet. I’ve brought a couple friends here over the years, and till this day, they continue to come. I myself was referred to this place by a friend - and its a decision that is never worth regretting. If you are looking for a long term relationship with a barber who will treat you like family, or even a one time cut with the greatest personnel, the only outcome is the best outcome.

This includes scissor cut, skin fade, beard trim and hot shave. She gives great attention to detail and always aims to do more rather than less. We always have interesting things to talk about during my visit and I feel like I know him on a personal level. The atmosphere in Sufi barbershop is top-notch. They’re always playing great music And the place is clean. They have a vast knowledge of different hairstyles, techniques, and hair care products. I would say their prices are a bit higher than other barbershops in town, but a few extra dollars is worth the superior service. Once you come here, you’ll never want to go anywhere else.

I was referred to Nabil by one of my colleagues and I have been going to Nabil now for haircuts and beard shaping and trimming for almost 4 years and I couldn’t be happier. I have had the men’s facial as well as masks done by him and he’s always very friendly, kind and professional. Even though I no longer work in Stamford, I am still willing to make the 40 minute drive just for the service.

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a place. Walked in with my friend to get a basic haircut. Showed the picture to the barber and he took 55 minutes with the haircut, which turned out nothing like the photo. At the end of the whole process they asked for 45 dollars. Unbelievable. DO NOT GO HERE. I cant believe people would spen so much money for a haircut done by such imbeciles.

Negative experience: I had one of the worst experiences at Soufi. I specifically told the barber that I wanted to keep the length on the sides and back and only asked for the ends to be evened out. Instead, he started buzzing off hair without confirming what he was doing, and before I could stop him, he completely butchered the back of my neck. He decided on his own to give me a fade—something I never asked for. Now, thanks to this barber’s complete disregard for what I requested, it’s going to take me six months to grow my hair back, and I’ll be stuck with this awful cut through winter and into the summer. To make matters worse, when I pointed out that he didn’t do what I asked, he just shrugged, said, “sorry,” and charged me $40 anyway. If you just want a fade, I’m sure you’ll be fine here, but if you want anything other than that, find another place. It’s clear they don’t listen to their customers, and that quality of service is absolutely unacceptable.

From day one Rayan has made us feel like family. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Soufi’s a few years back by a friend, and am forever grateful I made the switch to Soufi’s. Booking an appointment is simple with there app. Or if you walk in, you will be seated fairly quick. I use Nabil regularly and have my haircut dialed in perfectly. The best part is that it is always the same. Nabil has photographic memory. It is nearly impossible to find a consistent and great barber that you are happy with, but I can safely say you will get that at Soufi’s regardless of the barber you use in the shop.
