Fantastic experience: Av8 Barbers and especially Tommy is the place to go . I got a terrible haircut let it grow out and was able to show up last min. From the second I walked in I knew this would be the only place I go in Savannah. I left feeling like a new person and like I made a lifelong friend. Look no further for the best haircut and best atmosphere. Tommy is an artist and an amazing person . Thank you Tommy and Can't wait to go back again.

Negative experience: So disappointed with the cut my son received here after reading such positive reviews! Showed them a photo of what he was looking for and he basically got a buzz cut with a little scissor trim on top…same cut he used to get when he was 3 and 4 years old and not the fade we asked and paid for! Also had made an appointment and paid the deposit online and had to wait for almost an hour for his cut! Such a let down!

Fantastic experience: Brought my groomsmen in the morning of our wedding for a straight edge razor and cream, and haircuts. Would highly recommend for a fun dudes activity! DR was top of the line.

Negative experience: I got a haircut done it’s been a long time ago, They can’t even cut a straight line on back of the hair even blend the hair from top to bottom, but they want to charge high dollars to get the cutting their hair But a lousy haircut, you can go on your own and take a chance

Victoria is incredible—her craftsmanship, precision, and professionalism shine through in every cut. Hands down, my husband is obsessed with going there. The consistency, care, and pride she takes in her work set her apart and make every visit an exceptional experience. Very clean facility and extremely hospitable. If you’re looking for a barber/ stylist who delivers clean, polished results every single time, ask for Victoria. Highly recommend—go check them out.

We made the mistake of going elsewhere to get his haircut due to our schedule and my son's hair didn't meet our expectations. I called this shop the next day to see if they could fix his haircut and Elizabeth went above and beyond to help us! It is evident that she is highly experienced and pays close attention to detail. I would highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I was in Savannah for my sister’s wedding and figured if she gets to look flawless, I should at least look slightly less feral. Booked myself an ear, nose, and eyebrow wax (because apparently I was turning into a woodland creature), plus a beard trim to clean up the chaos. And since I believe in treating myself, I tacked on a shampoo. Victoria? 11/10. Not only was she easy to vibe with, but the shampoo came with a scalp massage that had me rethinking all my life choices—like why I don’t just book these weekly. Honestly, it was the closest I’ve come to speaking in tongues at a barber. Don’t be dumb. Book it. Your follicles deserve it.

Fantastic experience: I received a fade haircut, #2 on the sides, and finger length on top. Until AV8, and I patronized many men’s haircut establishments, did I actually get a finger length on top that did not make my head look like a mushroom. Victoria gave me exactly the haircut I requested and blended everything together - no more mushroom head. The cherry on top was the hot towel on your face with the shampoo and conditioner at the end. It was awesome and I highly recommend.

Negative experience: This was our first time here, and are new to Savannah. I wish this went better. I was excited to try this place out, my wife’s friend referred us here and said her husband loves this AV8. When we walked in the guy up front took minutes before he looked up from his phone and realized we were standing in front of him before anybody greeted us at all and then the stylist had a poor attitude the whole time. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by getting a haircut, which was the fastest haircut I’ve ever had, the fade doesn’t fade at all. I will not be returning to Elizabeth, it was so rushed. Definitely not worth the money, I’ve had better experiences with the barbers on post.

Negative experience: I was really looking forward to trying out this barbershop, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. Elizabeth didn’t cut my hair the way i asked, and it felt like she rushed through it. On top of that, her station was messy, and she hadn’t even swept up the hair from the client before me. She was unfriendly and it just didn’t feel professional.

Fantastic experience: We had our two little guys’ hair cuts today. One of them has thick blonde hair and bad cowlicks and the other has super thin bright blonde hair. Victoria and Elizabeth did a PHENOMENAL job! Elizabeth made the cowlicks disappear like it was magic. Seriously the best hair cut he’s ever had to compliment his hair needs. Victoria was so patient and gentle with our littlest who’s super chatty and can be a bit wiggly. She gave him a cut that suited him so well. Super low maitenence for those early school mornings! We already scheduled our next appointments with them and can’t wait to come back. Even our boys said they LOVED IT and can’t wait to go back. A huge bonus is the complimentary drinks and snacks for the sudden snack bug that seems to plague every child. Lol thank you Victoria and Elizabeth for making our little guys look even more handsome with fresh cuts!
