Negative experience: Unfortunately I can only give one star I really think Google needs to go into partial or zero stars for review. I called this outfit over a week ago to check on getting my babies first hair cut. I was told I didn't need an appointment they do walk ins. I said would it be better to do an appointment? No it's fine you can come in and they'll take care of you. So I bring my one year old in two people waiting two people in the chairs getting cut. I walk in she puts me down first guy gets done then pays and leaves the next guy goes then a woman comes in with 4 kids. The next guy gets done and apparently the kids are with him or maybe not who knows but he's done and one of the kids climbs in the Chair. I get making appointments and going in order but hey maybe tell the guy who has a 1 year old is going to be like a2 hr wait before they can get to you. Two hours with a restless one year old is an eternity. If you can't tell someone then maybe have a monitor up like heat clips so you can see how many ate before you do you can decide if you want to wait all that time or just come back. Possibly tell people it's better to scedule an appointment because you may have to wait his idk. First and only experience with this place will never go again or recommend to anyone. All I can say is be prepared to wait and if you have a baby forget it.

Negative experience: Extremely poor experience, and fraudulent pricing. Went for haircut prior to a wedding in 1 week where multiple photos would be taken. They had a trainee cut my hair- I asked for a light trim but significant hair was removed, with errors that Bob had to come to correct by removing even more hair. Then had my beard improperly shaped, which again was attempted to be corrected, but already too much removed. Not once are they stopping to ask what I want for the cut; just “is it short enough” after they already remove too much. Pricing online for haircut+beard is $35 which I had paid multiple times before. Suddenly they charged $45 without explanation. Went home and double checked pricing which confirmed $35- called into store and Bob himself fabricated a story that the electric shaver (which I did not ask for) was $5 extra, even though that was not mentioned and from now on the price would be $40-45. He didn’t not even know what services were rendered and asked if my full beard was trimmed (which was not), and was surprised. How is he charging variable prices without even knowing what was done? Extremely disappointing experience. Edit: they replied saying the price varies based on hair and length. None of that has changed to warrant an unexpected 33% price increase only being notified at the END of the cut. It’s fraudulent

Negative experience: Was jsut cut by a young kid and he had to get bob to come over and fix me he didn’t know how to use a blade to get a crisp line on my beard and when it was taken down to short told me it wasn’t possible to do I asked for a specific hair cut and he took the entire top of my head off. Bob even asked you came for a short hair cut and I told him no I shouldn’t have even paid for this haircut I will never come back here again my beard line is even worse if I could give a 0 star I would

Positive experience: 100 % I DON'T RECOMMEND this place. My colleague referred me to this place. The service was okay like what it was supposed to be. But online it says haircut+ beard trim - "Starts" $35. This has been used as a technique for them to upcharge the service. I ended up paying $50 and the reason mentioned was that it took longer for my beard - which is absurd. The usual time for a haircut + beard time is usually around 30-40 mins. And mine was exactly 45 min. And, definitely mine was a medium sized beard and a semi curly hair which definitely is not like shoulder length. The end result was certainly NOT worthy of $50. Importantly, the upcharge was never told and the cashier just blatantly charged me $50 and I'd to question her for the additional charge.

Fantastic experience: Prior to moving my son and his curly head of hair have had the Goldie locks experience, from getting barely anything cut off to WAY too much, temporarily losing his curls. This had him beyond upset, swearing off hair shops for almost a year. Today I finally talked him into getting it done again. You wouldn’t know it by the way he put on his bravery armor on the way in, but he was super anxious. Meagan, you cut it just right. I’m happy to have gotten you after moving back home to take care of family. He requested we go back to you once he needs a hair cut again, and I truly hope that’s possible Thank you, thank you, thank you !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my son here for the past few years. He got his first real haircut at J&B and he loved it! He got to sit in a car of his choice! I’ve since then had his haircut by a handful of stylists at the Glen location and everyone is always great! Bob is always in the salon while we are there and greets us with a warm welcome and sends us off with a happy goodbye! Walk-ins always welcome which is convenient for us. It’s a great place!

Positive experience: **A Now Former Loyal Customer’s Perspective: Quality vs. Rigid Policies** For over a decade, I’ve been a devoted client of this establishment, witnessing its growth from a modest shop named ‘Bob the Barber’ when it was a one person establishment with $10-$15 haircuts to the thriving business it is today. Bob’s talent is undeniable—he consistently delivers exceptional haircuts, which is why I’ve referred countless friends and colleagues over the years, many of whom remain loyal customers. However, I feel compelled to share a concern about the lack of flexibility in handling occasional missteps from long-standing clients. In 10+ years of regular appointments, I’ve unfortunately missed two sessions due to scheduling errors on my part. While I fully respect the need for policies to protect the business’s time and revenue, I was disappointed that no grace was extended despite my history of loyalty and advocacy. Charging the full price for missed appointments—without exception—feels at odds with the mutual respect I’d expect after years of partnership. To add context: There have been instances where Bob himself ran behind schedule, yet I’ve always accommodated delays without requesting compensation or adjustments. A bit of reciprocity in understanding would go a long way in maintaining goodwill with clients who’ve supported the business’s growth. That said, I still recommend Bob for his unmatched skill. Just be mindful of the strict adherence to policies—whether for lateness or scheduling mishaps—regardless of tenure or patronage. A great haircut is guaranteed, but flexibility for loyal clients, in my experience, is not. I own and accept the mistake I made in scheduling, however I think I need to take my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: The place has a nice atmosphere for sure when you walk in. Very well kept! However, the charging of prices is ridiculous here. The say a haircut is $25 but, if you pay by card it goes to $35. No credit card company charges over 20% fees. Then, if you have to get cash, they conveniently have an ATM there that they make a kick back on, as well. Owner was not very friendly and I understand if he was having a bad day. I sat and listened to him berate a customer on the phone because he was late and going to charge him a late fee. I would use caution if you are thinking about going and know all the details up front about charges and being late. I don't carry cash so I was taken back about the fees

Fantastic experience: My wife took our grandson for a haircut. Everyone was so wonderful to our grandson who has sensory issues. He has had a couple different haircuts. Negative experience: Took my Great Grandson in for a perm. I had pictures of what he wanted and was assured it could be achieved. He waited 48 hrs as instructed before washing. All he got was a little wave. I took him back for a redo. Missy re permed his hair. No curl ONCE AGAIN! just a little wave and hair hanging in his eyes. Needless to say - I am NOT HAPPY after spending time, money, back and forth. Now I have to spend MORE MONEY to have his hair REDONE by someone else because I don’t think Missy knows what she is doing. We showed her a picture of a guy with CURLY hair NOT WAVY!!! I would not recommend this place. Don’t waste your time and money. I am always willing to give a place a SECOND time BUT NOT A THIRD. Yes, I’m pissed

Positive experience: I recently moved to the area with my wife and had been shopping in the area for a place to get my haircut. A coworker had suggested to me J+B Studio and had said they were great. I checked them out and saw they had positive reviews. I had been going there since but have had 2 bad experiences with my haircut at Glen. The first time was one side of my head had been shaved down more so than the other for a fade and was quite noticeable. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept going. And for the most part had been happy with my haircuts. Though today I went in after work for a 5:30 pm appointment and left happy with my haircut till I saw in the mirror that she had shaved down a portion by my ear and had tried to even it out. Didn’t mention anything about the mistake and charged me regular prices (and the time before as well). And I tip every time because I know it can be hard in today economy. But the lack of honesty and the fact it has happened twice shows a lack accountability. The staff has been nice and welcoming every time I come in but the fact I have to worry about something happening is too much of a risk. I’m sad to say this will be my last time in and that I’ll be looking for another salon. Edit: After typing the previous review, Bob had contacted me the next day and had apologized for the incident and offered to have me come in at any time to fix my hair. He fit me in quickly when I was able to come in. He fixed the unevenness and then some. Greatly appreciated!

Negative experience: - UPDATE- 5 STARS TO 1 Heather did a great job on my hair and beard. I have a large beard and don't trust many people with it. I took a leap of faith and I'm glad i did. She paid attention to detail and made me look much less homeless. Thanks Heather! - update- from 5 starts to 1 Bob, the owner called me and left a voicemail stating that he would charge my account money for missing appointments, the last 2 appointments i made with them at the Glen store, the barber i requested, Heather, was at the campustown location. Nobody told me that until i was already at Glen... i live 30 minutes away and we had a storm last night that caused a tree to fall across my driveway, which I'm now at this moment cleaning up. I called to explain this to him and he cut me off and just kept repeating "thank you". I've spent a few hundred dollars in there over the past few years. Looks like I'm taking my money elsewhere. Great job Bob! That ridiculous voicemail you left me cost you my business, and you didn't even get anything for it. You lost business. Very unprofessional way of handing this.

Fantastic experience: Bob is absolutely amazing and the kids all want him when they get their hair cut. Since we have six people getting done, we divide and conquer with the rest of the staff. We’ve never had a bad experience. I think my teens are a bit jealous they don’t get to sit in the sports cars while they get their cut like their youngest sibling though. This is the first salon we’ve been to in the area that does a phenomenal job fading the sides. We won’t go elsewhere now. I’ve got 2 kids who have hair that doesn’t do what we attempt. When I described to them the problem, they had zero difficulties making it a nonissue.

Fantastic experience: Heather was a legit miracle worker last night when I took my 2 year old son in for a haircut. He has had 5+ haircuts before and had a meltdown every time the clippers were brought out. Last night, he sat through his entire haircut, INCLUDING the clippers, all by himself for the first time without a meltdown. Heather was so patient, kind, and considerate of my son’s apprehensiveness. She helped him feel comfortable and talked him through when he was scared. If you have a kiddo that hates haircuts or is scared, send them her way!! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 yr old son for his first haircut and was so nervous that it would be a train wreck bc he cannot sit still. But Bob was so patient and kind and made the experience so special for him. He gave me some of his hair to keep for his photo book, let him pick his own car to sit in, and kept going back to give him more toys to keep him comfy and happy. Fantastic experience: I took my 15 month old son who will not let anyone comb his hair to bob and I am amazed. My son did not cry at all and bob worked with all of my son’s movements. Fantastic experience: First time visiting. Super cute studio! Phoebe did a wonderful job on hair! Went from medium length flat hair. To a beautiful bob with bangs. She listened to what I wanted and took her time. All of the staff was very nice. Will be coming back for my future cuts.

Fantastic experience: Bob really knows his craft! I took my teen son there following a botched haircut by a chain hair cut place and he did an amazing job. We had an appointment and he was right on time. The shop is very clean and modern and had great stations with little vehicles for young ones to sit in. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE this place! It was our first time coming the J+B Studio today and it was our son's first haircut. I was feeling a little nervous about how he would do since he's little, it was his first hair cut and I loved his curls! But the gentleman that did our son's hair did a wonderful job! He looks so cute now and we will be DEFINITELY returning for the whole family for our hair care needs! I've included before and after pictures so his work can be shown off. ***EDIT*** Almost 2 years later, and we STILL COME BACK! We love the stylists there and the kids always love when it's time to get their hair cut again. We always leave happy with the cut! I'm getting ready to schedule a cut and color with Andrea for myself! ❤️ They are the only people I trust with my and my families hair! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: I just got a haircut at the Glen location in Peoria and this is what they did to my hair. Hairdresser kept complaining while she was cutting my hair about how tired she was. she never showed me the final result so I found this out when I got home. Never coming back.

Everyone was so amiable and we didn't have to wait long and the haircut looks great. They cut my husband’s hair too and it’s probably the best haircut he has gotten in the last 4 years.

Fantastic experience: Bob is the best barber not only in the Peoria metropolitan area but as far as I’m concerned the state. I hail from Chicago and became acquainted with Bob when I was looking for a barber as I was going to school in central Illinois. Once I got a cut from him I never wanted it from anyone else. However after I graduated I was forced to look for other barbers in the Chicagoland area. None of them lived up to Bobs standards. Now I make the trip down to Peoria specially to get cut by him and his amazing constituents.

Negative experience: I came here because it had amazing reviews and it listed as the staff being good with kids. A child’s haircut is $25. Don’t come here, the staff is obviously not trained to cut children’s haircut or they don’t have the patience. Also, if you want to pay the full fee for and unfinished and not even halfway haircut, don’t come here.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved here from Germany and dreaded finding a new barber that I was happy with. But Bob's place is amazing! Clean, spacious, nice decor, friendly staff, appointments close by and most importantly an amazing haircut and beard trim. Everyone is great to get along with and the prices are reasonable. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Bob and his team of stylists consistently for close to 3 years now. Each member of the team provides a quality haircut at a reasonable price. For those of you who are entertaining the idea of coming to J+B over a chain or maybe new to the area and unsure where to go, I HIGHLY encourage you make an appointment. Making an appointment is easy as you can do so online or by phone. There are two locations to choose from, and no matter the stylist you get (whether you select Bob or a member of his team) you get a quality hair cut. I generally don’t leave reviews unless I feel the service is of high quality, and J+B goes above and beyond with their quality, pricing, cleanliness, and overall service.

Negative experience: This is where you go if you don’t know what a good hair cut is. I believe my stylist was Andrea. Literally she threw a 2 guard on and knocked everything off. When I specifically asked for a 2 on top and fade the sides. Then didn’t even attempt to line up the beard when charging me and additional 20 for cutting the beard. I only stopped there because it was next to my house and my barber was out of town. Literally terrible but out of respect I still tipped her 10 dollars because of this economy we live in. Don’t charge baber prices for great clips quality.

Fantastic experience: Bob is truly an artist with comb and scissors! If you have the opportunity, book your appointment with Bob himself. Well worth the cost with over 30 years experience as a barber himself. Bob has done for me today what no barber in Peoria has been able to do these past seven months. With just a couple example pictures, and me answering a few of his questions, he recreated the quality of haircut and beard trim I was only able to get previously from my barber in NY. I'll be coming back here for sure!

Fantastic experience: J&B Rocks. My wife and I both needed a hair cut and stopped in one day. We got Andrea and she is phenominal. But both of our hair perfectly. We have been going there now for the last 3 years. Great place for the entire family to get their hair cut. They do have Spa services as well.

Fantastic experience: Missy was extremely patient and amazing with my toddler. He does not sit still very well, so she just moved along with him as needed without any frustration or issues. She paid attention to all the details including how his hair grows and lays naturally, and she was great about reading his body language and helping him feel comfortable when he wasn’t sure about the clippers. 10/10 would recommend! Extremely reasonable pricing and very clean studio.

Fantastic experience: My first rime here. Easy to find, close ample parking, greeted as I entered, clean, modern, well lit, clean comfortable waiting area. My appointment was for 11:30 I arrived at 11:20 and was called back at 11:28. Love punctual people who respect my time. Wanted a VERY specific cut and showed a picture of what I wanted on my phone to my stylist Missy. She studied my picture and soon got to work. I was very nervous as I had been growing my hair out for months and had looked and looked for someone that could pull off the style I wanted. Time for me was short our first event is in 4 days at OSF children's hospital with no time to regrow so has to be done right, right now. Missy ever confident clipped and clipped as I watched in the mirror. I was amazed how she slowly transformed my rats nest hair into exactly what I wanted, so nice to be in the hands of a professional. Thank you J+B, and thank you Missy.

Negative experience: Back to the area after almost a decade away and looking for a new barber. I went through the google reviews to find a new place and settled in this place. My appointment was at 2:30 and I was done by 2:37. Still got charged as if it was a much longer ordeal. I did not feel as though the haircut was very thorough or time was spent on going over everything well. The shop was not busy so the rushed behavior was not appreciated. Quality of cut was mediocre and the cutting skills seemed to be rather flippant and shoddy. Scissors kept grabbing my hair and more so pulling than cutting. Weird methods of trimming down the top of the head that I haven’t seen before by grabbing the hair between the fingers and dragging the trimmers across it made me nervous as to what the intent was. Could have very easily taken the time to cut with scissors like every other place I have gotten haircuts from for the last 25 years of my life. And of course you feel like a monster for not tipping so I still tip even though I’m not happy with my experience. The cleanliness of the building, friendliness of the front counter worker and ease in scheduling was the only reason it’s a 2/5. But the whole reason I came at all was the haircut and it was not great. Will be looking for another shop next haircut.

Fantastic experience: I'm a balding man in my early 20's (shame I know) and have noticably thin hair at my crown and temples. I have accepted the fact that while I love having hair I'll eventually buzz it off when the time comes. Right now I still have enough to look great with a flattering haircut, and that's what I always got when I went here. I worked specifically with Andrea each time - she's a skilled hairstylist and could pretty easily do exactly what I wanted after I told her my concerns about my thining hair and what I wanted. I had her do a low bald fade, texturing the top to give it more volume and fading the part area/line on my head all the way around a little bit shorter to take off some visual weight there to keep everything more the same color and reduce the contrast with my balding spot on my crown so it didn't stand out near as much. Cut looks amazing every time, and Andrea even helped me write down the 'recipie' of guard lengths and fade height I like to communicate that to my next barber (I'm about to move states for work). I've accepted my hair situation but still stress about it from time to time, but I'm genuinely convinced I got the best haircuts around for my thinning hair with Andrea. Thanks Andrea, you made a balding man feel better about himself after every haircut.

Negative experience: I have been going since they opened up several years ago. However, just received the worst quality haircut I've ever gotten in my adult life. Nothing was lined up correctly and I had to get another haircut elsewhere to have it corrected. The hairdresser was clearly sick as well as she kept needing to blow her nose and was coughing throughout the haircut. So disappointed to see the quality going down.

Fantastic experience: Bob got me ready to go for my wedding the day before. My fiancé loved it so much we asked if he could style it again like that the next day for the wedding. He said come on in and he’d squeeze me in. I showed up, he got me right in and took care of me. In addition to giving a great haircut, Bob runs an awesome business. Can’t thank him enough.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite place for my hair and eyebrows! It's handicapped accessible, and it's so beautiful inside. They have a little refreshment center for guests in the lobby. The front staff is amazing and kind. Bob is an artist with an electric razor and Andrea (Ann-dree-uh) takes such good care of Her clients! The price is worth the service.

Fantastic experience: Always a great cut, I choose any of the staff there because they really do know what they are doing. I have gone all over to many different salons and barbers and the cut is always so inconsistent but here I get a great fade with the top scissor but and it's money every time. It is ONLY cash unless you want to pay a CC fee but it's worth it for the quality and nice environment. Great job guys! Loyal customer for 3 years here.

Fantastic experience: This place is really nice. Pricer than I expected, but they were able to do exactly what my daughter wanted done, including a design, so, well worth it. Lindsay was super friendly and very accomodating. As for the price, I'm told by others this is average now, I guess I should get my hair cut more often

Fantastic experience: Wow!! I am blown away by this barber shop! I tried to cut my 2 year old son’s hair and it didn’t go as planned. Usual for a 2 year old. They take walk ins. We arrived and waiting less than 5 minutes. They have incredible cars for littles to sit in while getting their hair cut. I was so pleased with my experience. The shop was clean and the atmosphere was great! They only use card if it’s over $30-35 (can’t remember exactly). So be prepared or use their ATM.

Fantastic experience: Bob is easily one of the best barbers I’ve been to. He’s efficient and very skilled. I’ve seen two price increases in the past years, and feel like I’m still getting a good deal. Better than $70 cuts I’ve had at swanky joints in California.

Fantastic experience: Better haircut than I get back home in NY. Highly recommend Bob! I tell all my friends to come here and you should too. UPDATED 8 YEARS LATER: Well... I finally made it back for the first time since 2016. Bob has expanded the operation but his skill set has not dropped off. Even living in a city like NYC where I am from and where I am again now, Bob is still the best barber I have ever had! I purposely did not get a haircut before flying in for the wedding I had to attend to see Bob. Now the only question is how do I get him to move to NY? If you don't get your haircut by Bob you are doing something wrong.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful interior and sparkling clean. One of the nicer salons in the area. It’s more expensive than Great Clips, $17 vs $30 for Mens Haircut (by Bob). Other barbers charge less. It’s a great option if you are looking for a kids haircut. We took our toddler there and the barber was very patient. They have an online booking/appointment system which also lists the prices for their services.

Fantastic experience: We love Bob the Barber!! We have been to J+B Studios several times for hair cuts for our two boys (age 2 and 5) and are so pleased every time. The boys love sitting in the cars and Bob is so fun and patient with the boys and does a great job with their hair cuts. We’ve had a couple other stylists as well and they also do a great job. We will continue to go back again and again!

Fantastic experience: So many of my friends recommended J+B Studio by Bob the Barber & he was AMAZING! My one year old baby boy is WILD but Bob kept him entertained with the car & toys the whole time!!! He even let my toddler sit & play in a car (even tho he wasn’t getting his haircut). The boys both loved it!!! 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: We love this place! Phoebe did a fantastic job with our two year old son’s haircut! She worked quickly and was able to give him a great haircut even while he was moving around. We always leave here happy!

Positive experience: I walked in today with my toddler and didn’t wait very long. We had a great time! The place was very clean, everyone was kind and attentive. I’m giving 4 stars here because there’s a $35 minimum for charging a card (and the kids haircut is only $20). They do have an atm there that charges one dollar to use, so you’re never stuck, but I thought this was inconvenient and awkward. Otherwise it was great. We’ll be back and I will bring cash.

Fantastic experience: I had been going to Bob at his old shop but with COVID and own move farther away I stopped. Went back today and more than 2 years later and he remembered me and what hairstyle I liked. New Studio is amazing. Will be using Bob for my haircuts again from now on.

Fantastic experience: The best barber in Peoria. I’ve been coming here for 7 years now and haven’t had a thought about switching. Bob has been working in the business for decades and can accommodate any request. He cuts your hair exactly how you want it and is always consistent

Fantastic experience: My husband goes to Bob and I’ll come with every once and awhile. Bob is very nice and welcoming. Even though I don’t get my haircut he offers me coffee and water that is free in the store which is very generous. He’s quick and does exactly what my husband wants with his hair. Sometimes my husband will go to one of the ladies. The ladies are 20 dollars and Bob is 25. This past time we went, the lady charged 30$ on his hair. We should’ve asked why she charged that much... we’ll probably stick to Bob. I mean she did a great job with his hair but charging 10$ extra? It was more expensive than what Bob charges. But all in all, it’s a great establishment. This was the only time we’ve had a “problem” and we didn’t ask any questions. I think it could’ve been resolved maybe if we confronted her about it. So I’m still giving 5 stars because we still believe it’s a 5 star establishment.

Positive experience: Quality comes at a price, but not at this establishment. Ended up with a bad haircut. I had my 4 year old daughter with me so I asked them to brush her hair and put it in a braid since I was heading out of town. The braid lasted about an hour before it fell out. So disappointing. Paid $50 for what I felt should have been priced closer to cost cutters $5.99 special. Never going to return. Going back to my guy in Bartonville where straight blades are used and I do t feel like I am in a glorified beauty shop.

Negative experience: Keep cash with you if you are going in there for a service  that costs less than $35! This piece of information is not mentioned anywhere on the website. I took my 5 yr old for haircut and it was our first time at this place. The hair dresser who worked with us was great and made my kid very comfortable throughout the time. However when it came to pay for the service the guy at the front desk informed me that they only take cash if service was below $20.00 pointed me to an ATM machine they have inside the store. Unfortunately I didn't carry cash or a debit card and didn't want to use my credit card to withdraw such a small amount of money. I asked if there was no way to use credit card and at that time the guy looked at the owner who btw was overhearing the whole conversation. The owner directed the gentleman at the front desk to use my credit card and charge me $25 ! With no explanation other than - this is my first time so charge her 25! It was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional to overcharge customer for a policy that is not written anywhere on your website. I made an online appointment and had I seen the info on cash only payment , I would have carried cash with me. Either way, that whole thing was sketchy and is enough for me to not wanna go back. Sadly the hair dresser was very good and I would come back for her. But the owner needs to work on customer service.

Fantastic experience: This place rocks! Bob has to be the best barber in town and the new location is fantastic. I was never in the original but this new place has a cool vibe, everyone is friendly, and great staff. Got a great haircut from Bob.

Fantastic experience: I was I town for my daughter to shop at the mall and desperately needed a hair cut. I found J+B was super close so I gave them a try. I was extremely delighted that I was able to walk in, no appointment. The shop was crazy clean, the working the desk checking people in was really nice. Walking in im greeted with a warm welcome and not some half fake one either. I didn't wait long either as he called me "hey red shorts" lol. He was attempting to call for me but I wasn't really paying attention. Then the lady cut my hair was extremely nice and funny. She was well kept up and didn't look like she came off some binder like other places. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! She was real quick and didn't miss anything! The price was more than fair and I would definitely go back with no hesitation! For not being a regular and getting in and out, I'm super happy!!! They also had some power wheel looking car chairs for kids that looked awesome! I seriously can't think of a place that was set up cooler!

Positive experience: The shop is clean and looks very nice. The lady who cut my hair (didn't catch her name) was very nice and did a good job. My issue, is that they charged me an extra $5 dollars for a hard part. Of course nobody told me this until it was time to pay. She didn't tell me before doing it and it's not on their website (that I can see). If they had been upfront about this, I would have given more stars. That being said, the idea of charging $5 for something that takes 10 seconds to do is ridiculous. It would be more understandable if she used a straight razor instead of clippers, but she didn't. I'll definitely be making the drive back to my barber in Bloomington from now on.
