Negative experience: Our recent visit to this barbershop was nothing short of a disappointment. The female barber's treatment to my wife during my sons haircut was shockingly rude, and the haircut itself was a far cry from what we expected. To make matters worse, when we returned to request her to fix it, the barber's attitude remained impolite and dismissive. It's so important to courteous and professional towards customers in such a setting, it makes the world of difference these days, Regrettably, our experience was so off-putting that we have decided not to return to Boston barbers. We were really taken back by the disrespect we encountered that day.

Positive experience: Did a good cut for my young son. Barber was rushed and didn't speak to or engage with my son once, only talking to what seemed to be either a friend or trainee who was standing, watching, nearby. I wouldn't go back for that reason.

Fantastic experience: Excellent barbers. Complete professionals, friendly chat, lovely people. I now travel to get to Dungarvan for my haircut here since I discovered it last year. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Negative experience: I would not advise anybody to go to boston barbers dungarvan, I would not even give it a 1 star, I went in there with my 12 yr old on Sunday at 4.30, I explained to the lady what i wanted done, very simple low fade take a good bit off the top and leave his fringe, I paid and left and told him follow me to dunnes, when he came back to me his hair was butchered, his fringe completely gone, that would have been ok maybe she didnt understand me except all his hair was uneven, he had lumps of hair left on one side of his head, I was in the middle of my shopping I told him go back and ask them to fix the side of his hair, he did, they were rude and unhelpfull, told him they didnt see anything wrong, they tried to fix it and failed again, they told him if his mother had a problem come back herself, I finished my shopping as fast as possible, but didnt get back there till 5.05 and they were closed, besides the fact they were uncapable of giving a simple hair cut, there manners were disgusting towards my son, they pulled the head off him trying to cut his hair, my advise would be too change profession. Angry customer and will never return to boston barbers.

Positive experience: I'm happy to go there monthly or thereabouts. Hairdressers are friendly cutting to a length I like consistently. I also get my beard trimmed. There is seldom a wait where I'm usually taken straight away. I enjoy the banter and badinage and I leave with a smile, neither too light of pocket nor feeling scalped! I like it!
