Negative experience: Just saw this places advertises itself here as "LGBTQ friendly". Which they clearly aren't, because their policy stated to my face earlier is basically they'll only touch your hair if you're a man. So no haircuts for queers. In reply to the owner below: That signage is evidently not clear enough, plus I was told during your lunch break to come back laterwith no mention of that policy. In addition, two of thise letters have nothing to do with sexual orientation. And breasts don't make a woman. Perhaps consider if a male cut is exactly what a client might seek and just ask. Even charge extra. Whatever. But a blanket policy based on what you think k is on somebody's pants is just bigotry, what harm could possibly be done by accepting an enthusiastic new customer. Hope you think on that.

Negative experience: Went in and seen my friend get the worst haircut I have ever seen I couldn’t even bring myself to sit down on the chair and get a haircut myself.

Negative experience: I wear in the chair for about 15 minutes and I had to go across the road to fix it in a different barbers. Would rate 0 stars if I could. Never again don’t go here

Fantastic experience: Brought my son in for a haircut and was genuinely impressed with Matt’s work. He clearly has real knowledge and experience, especially when it comes to tricky hair patterns like a double crown. Anywhere else we’ve gone, it ended up looking choppy and stuck out awkwardly after a couple of days — but not this time. Matt took the time to cut it properly, and gave advice on how long to leave it grow out to get an even better cut next time. Highly recommend if you want someone who actually understands how to work with different hair types!

Fantastic experience: I've eaten here a number of times and it doesn't disappoint. The platters are just works of art. I have some interesting dietary requirements and when a group of us had a booking at Christmas they couldn't have been more helpful when I got in touch in advance to tell them about it. Everyone was happy with what they got.

Negative experience: Well what a disgraceful welcome. We turned up at lunchtime after checking on the website that they were open. We walked through the open door only to be told " We are closed!" (The lights outside were on).The rude women siting in the bar doing her paprwork said there was a sign saying they were closed after I told her that the website said they were open. She was as cold as the interior and not at all hospitable. We left and looked for the sign on the door saying Closed. There wasn't any sign and the door was open. We went back inside to let the woman know there was no sign. She said "It's in the window". Sure enough there was a tiny blackboard sign in the bottom left hand corner of the window. We will not be returning to experience her hospitality.

Negative experience: I went here for some food and drinks with my wife. The service was terrible the waitress was rude and the food when it finally arrived was raw. I would not recommend avoid at all costs. I fully regret spending money in this place.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic little place. I've not used it as a wine bar as yet. However I've used the tattoo services side and it's great. The artist who did my cover up is an absolutely fantastic artist I'd highly recommend him (stu). Jen is a very lovely lady too ready to answer queries you may have. Over all wicked place definitely going back once I'm rich enough for more ink.

Fantastic experience: We had our dog with us last Sunday as we were watching the Ironman race and wanted something small to eat, what a little treasure this place is, dog friendly big time and the food was AMAZING, the wine and mocktails were also very good. I will be back the next time I’m in Youghal. Thank you big time.

Negative experience: Cancelled appointment by EMAIL an hour before the appointment. No explanation or apology. It was lucky I checked my emails otherwise I would have travelled a half hour journey for nothing. Very unprofessional and would not recommend

Fantastic experience: Many times I’ve gotten my hair cut here over the years, even used the sun beds when they had them. Never had a bad experience, Matt has great banter and great customer service, cuppa coffee always on the offer, definitely the best in the town

Negative experience: Spent 10 minutes total cutting my hair. Untidy around edges completely uneven on top with obviously tufts sticking up asked for fade which the Barber clearly had no clue how to do.
