Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Boru highly enough. The lads run an absolutely fantastic outfit and are in a league of their own when it comes to hairdressing in Killarney at the minute. The online booking system works great, and Kevin & Eric are two absolute gents to deal with.

Fantastic experience: These gentlemen were great! They were able to fit me in as a walk-in within about an hour, which gave me the perfect amount of time to enjoy a pint of Guinness next door. I’m an American and a full-time wheelchair user. Before I even entered the shop, they had already moved the barber chair to accommodate me! I had brought my family along because I expected that I would need help transferring into their chair, but that wasn’t necessary at all. The entire shop had a vibrant atmosphere, and the conversation flowed easily. Eric did a fantastic job with my fade and mullet. My family and I were extremely impressed! I highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike. I’m used to paying an arm and a leg for a haircut in the States, so I was genuinely shocked by how affordable it was. That allowed me to leave a more generous tip… and they absolutely deserved it.

I'm not from this country, and they made me feel like I was in my usual barbershop. A huge thank you to the owner and the whole team. The best barbershop in Killarney!

Fantastic experience: I completed the 6 week introductory barber course and it was excellent , it was way more detailed than I expected and kev is a great teacher , very happy with how it turned out and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get into the barber trade.

Fantastic experience: Was down at the Oireachtas in Killarney and the girlfriend said I badly needed a haircut, just dropped in and the lads said they’d look after me, I was lucky with the timing as it was full in no time after, Chris did a mighty job on the aul lid and complimented me on my moustache which I thought was lovely of him, Kevin offered me a coffee when he was running out for a minute which was very sound altogether, craic was great in there now I’d go back tomorrow for another cut only the hair wouldn’t grow quick enough. All jokes aside i definitely recommend

Negative experience: Not kids friendly. Salon was empty, no one outside. My toddler wanted to sit on the bench outside and was told to leave as it is for customer only. Well, now you've lost plenty.

Fantastic experience: Best barbershop in town hands down. Have been coming into Boru for the past few years and have never gotten a bad haircut. Consistently good. Even if I’m away and in need of a haircut I’ll always wait until I’m back in town as I know it’ll be a good one. Kevin is dead on and very easy to chat to. Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I visited Boru Barbers for the first time on the recommendation of a family member as I was in Killarney and needed a cut. The shop itself is quite small, very clean and has a quirky design to it. Kevin was everything you could want in a barber - a fierce nice fella and did an excellent job on my hair. Had a great chat with him while getting it cut. Price was also reasonable. Will be visiting again and would highly recommend!
