Fantastic experience: I got a great haircut today around 12ish and he was very nice and talkative

Negative experience: Ballincollig 30/5 Am ... Never post reviews on barber shops but no email address to send this..... Been coming here for few years been very happy with until got this barber Ive not seen him before spent 2 min geling his hair while I sat watching him absolutely no interest in his job just looking at himself ever 5 sec in the mirror!! Didn't do what i asked him when it came to using scissors just plough on so fast was too late to stop him .. realised how bad a job he did when i got home! Make matters worse price was alway 18e but now gone upto 20e for this blotch job !!!

Negative experience: I’d give this place 1–2 stars. I asked for a burst fade, which is a very common haircut, especially in Ireland. I had the same style from my previous haircut, so it should have been easy enough to copy. I also showed him a photo for reference to make it clear what I wanted. The barber told me he didn’t know what a burst fade was and even asked if it was the same as a “V” — which it isn’t. I explained it, but he still didn’t seem to understand. In the end, I didn’t get anything close to a burst fade. What I got was more like a wide V / mullet style, completely different from both what I asked for and what I showed in the photo. Really disappointing experience. If you’re going here for a specific or modern style, I’d think twice.

Fantastic experience: Really good barber shop. Clean and welcoming place, and I’m very happy with my haircut. I also appreciated the relaxed atmosphere - no loud music like in many other places, just a cosy TV with a football match on. I’ll definitely be back.

Positive experience: I visited KC Barber Shop in Ballincollig for a dry cut. I was happy with the service. What I liked: - Very fast, my dry cut was done in 20 minutes. - Courteous staff. - Excellent value. €15 for a dry cut is one of the cheapest in Ballincollig. - Card payments accepted. What would make the place better: - A sign outside showing the prices for each service. - A sign outside the shop showing the opening hours. I was unsure up until I reached the entrance whether or not the shop was open. I would recommend KC Barber Shop to somebody looking for a well-priced haircut.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at this Barber Shop. My son, who uses a wheelchair, was treated with great care and respect. The staff made us feel truly welcome, and they went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable throughout the entire visit. Their kindness and professionalism meant a lot to us, and it made the experience very special. My son left with a big smile, and I truly appreciate the attention and warmth we received. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I will not waste my time writing too much or your time to read. I had an extremely bad experience here. The guy was rude/rough in his manner and action when he was cutting my hair although I believe I never acted or spoke to him in any impolite way from the start. He completely butchered my hair. He latter claimed that my hair is naturally like that but never asked me while he was cutting it so you know he was lying. His clippers were probably blunt and he was also distracted by the TV. If the TV is turned on in this barber shop, turn around. Edit: To the owner, I posted the review to the right place.

Negative experience: I just had a hair cut in your shop by Zaman I explained to him what I need fading on the side and back 0 and than gradually 1 or 2 (I am not a barber ) I am a customer and I trust the barber to do good job After he finished I saw the sides still bit long I asked him to make it short. he got angry snapped at me that i told him I want 0 and medium 1 …….. Plus I believe he curst me to his colleague in Kurdish language I asked who is manager in this shop He said all of us are the manager. He asked me not come back to him next time come to someone else. Is it barber shop you have there ! or humiliating customers shop ?. Never seen something like that it’s dangerous If you love your shop kasim teach your barbers customer service .

Negative experience: Rolled is eyes when I asked him to cut 2 kids hair. Did it again when I asked if he cut take a bit more off the top. He was rushing and very rough and the kids said he hurt him a few times by hitting the scissors off his head. The shop was empty so don't know why rushing. He was also shaving himself when we came in which was weird. No mask and clearly had a cold or something. He was white lad. The second lad who cut my younger guys hair was fine and did a good job. He was the darker lad. He was very professional. Would not go back again due to the attitude

Negative experience: Been going here for a couple of years but really disappointed with the current covid controls and how much they have slipped lately. Similar to others the staff not wearing masks and customers then not wearing them. Will be looking elsewhere from now on which is a shame.

Negative experience: Came in here tonight with my son for a cut for him. No other customers there. Eastern European guy told us abruptly to take a seat which we did. He then rolled himself a cigarette and went off out the back. So we went out the door to a better barber shop where our custom was appreciated. I'd give this place 0 if I could.

Negative experience: When you have to ask the barber to put his mask on, it kind of puts you off the place. Definitely won't be back.
