Negative experience: I am writing my first negative review, the barber who works at the place at the end on the right could not cut my hair as I asked even after I showed him the video of the desired haircut twice. I won't even mention that I waited for him to finish smoking. A most unpleasant experience.

Negative experience: The guy who cut my son's hair was fabulous and top notch! Really happy with the result and he is such a delightful person. Five stars for you! ✨ However, the (I assume) manager was the rudest person Ive encountered in a long time. Got very upset because we didn't have cash even though the poor barber said Revolut is fine and he quoted us €18. The rude fella looked at us like we are trash and said for us it's €20. - There are better ways to deal with clients. Seriously. I don't know if your man was having a rough day, but sir, we did NOT deserve your attitude.

Fantastic experience: Ali is the best barber around for beard trims. He is top class and couldn't recommend him enough. I can't seem to find anyone as good around where I live in Greystones so whenever I'm home in Sligo I always get the beard sharpened up and I'm never disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have known Caleb Cox now for over 18 months. Every since my first haircut with him I keep going back. He has come such a long way since when he gave me my first fade and stuck with him since then. Caleb will make sure every cut is given the time and care it needs as well as great craic and chat always a good laugh and conversation. He can anything from high to mid fades to tapers to burst fades. He is a magician when it comes to hair it’s ridiculous how good he is. If your in Sligo or even visting and need a trim go to Prince and ask for Caleb you won’t be disappointed the guy is the Messi of Haircuts. Not enough words to describe how good his service and customer skills are. Highly highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great barbers would really recommend, make you feel welcome when you walk in the door, I went to Caleb Cox in their and haven’t looked back since. By far best haircut I’ve ever had, has definitely knocked atleast 10 years off me, even the wife and kids didn’t recognise me when I got home, the Misses thought I was Brad Pitt coming to the door. He’s a talented young fella that’s definitely going places I can see him running the place in the next few months.

Negative experience: Formerly great barbers but I'm sorry to say that they've lost their way. Haircuts are now a rush job and that old attention to detail and artistry seems to be gone. A real shame.

Negative experience: Poor haircut at Dublin prices. Completely overpriced and nothing special. Cut wasn’t great and at €20 I was expecting something good.

Negative experience: Booked in advance for 3:30 and the guy started my hair cut at 4:30. I came from office to get it done and got late. No professionalism for slightly higher price 20 euro for dry cut. "Just replying to comments below, I did not requested professionalism certification from you as I was not the one who provided professional service. I walked in the morning and I was told today is busy and we are not taking walk ins (fair enough and appointment agreed was 3:30) I was few minutes late due to parking issue but I found 02 people ahead of me in the queue (if I was few minutes earlier as you mentioned then probably I would had to wait more than one hour) and it took an hour to get to my turn. you are right, one text msg and one minute call but probably it is not too bad after getting late for one hour and I never asked privacy. Because of this delay, I requested service provider if he could do it little fast. I apologized for that interruption and after the cut said thank you for the service 3 times at minimum. Now look at your rude reply for my comment for delayed service which is absolutely correct. Apparently you replied to other person review in same way who pointed out something to you. reviews are for improvement I suppose. You just want all good reviews (of course many people had good experience). Lastly, I would never come to your service either.

Fantastic experience: Best Barber in Sligo

Negative experience: The haircut was ok. But certainly not worth the €20 price. Same quality of service provided by other barbers in the area for half the price. Dublin prices in Sligo just doesn't fit. Also, the cash only policy doesn't fit with modern times and smells suspiciously like establishment avoiding pay correct tax.

Negative experience: Absolutely brutal. 1. Didn’t appear to speak any English. 2. Unable to cut hair. 3. Did everything he was asked not to do. When asked to stop, kept going. Randomly cut a lump out of the back of my hair. Cut both sides completely different shapes and length. Left one long bit on the top. Absolutely shocking. Had to go to a real barbershop afterwards. New barber couldn’t stop laughing at damage done or that someone that bad could be allowed to cut hair. Ended up having to shave my head. AVOID.
