Fantastic experience: Great shop. I actually ended up here by chance and I’m glad I did. I’ve now sat with three different barbers on different visits, and every one of them did a great job. The atmosphere is relaxed, the barbers are friendly, and it’s an easy place to feel comfortable. I’ve noticed some negative reviews, but it’s important to look at the overall pattern. A lot of those complaints come from people who seem unhappy everywhere they go, or who expect special treatment instead of being treated like regular human beings and then get upset when they’re not put on a pedestal. Based on my experience, this place delivers consistently solid cuts in a laid-back environment. Five stars. I’d absolutely recommend Cuban Fade’s.

Negative experience: Showed up for my 430pm appt. on time and by 450pm still hadn’t been called. One of the barbers cleaned her station, walked around, sat down to check her phone without even acknowledging me. Don’t waste your time with this place, your tile is worth nothing to them. I booked online and selected ‘any barber’. I have never been to the shop before so I would have no way of knowing what barber to pick. The owner, Miguel called me and let me know he wasn’t available, I told him I selected ‘any barber’. Sounds like that selection defaults to the owner, Miguel. I told him I was new to the area and he suggested the lady. If it was a glitch with your system, that’s a you problem. Miguel assured me she was a great barber and 430pm was not an issue. I did interact with any employees until I told them to cancel my 430pm appt at 450pm after not being seen for 20 min after my scheduled time. Your front door was simply pushed open, if the stopper is broken that again isn’t my fault. Pull up the camera, I did not curse nor act inappropriately. You’ve lost 3 cuts every two weeks between myself and my sons. Be better in the future to your new customers.

No words to even describe what these hair cuts are but I can tell you this one thing I ain’t never having my kids hair cut by this place again! All 3 hair cuts are a disgrace! I had the honour of having Miguel the owner take care of me and was blown away by the customer experience. I showed up ten minutes before the doors open and I was welcomed inside to wait while Miguel got the shop opened up and ready for the day and just watching him get everything set up I could tell he loves what he does! Straight razor shave on the dome, massage and hot towel service…10/10 will be back and will recommend to everyone!

Miguel was fantastic with my 3 year old son who was getting his first Barber Shop experience, leaving him with a spectacular haircut for my sisters wedding. He looked fantastic. I showed up with the best hockey mullet I had been growing for the last year, which was not approved for wedding photos haha. I left with as my wife described "The nicest most handsome hair cut I think you have ever had". If I lived anywhere in this area I would be making the regular trip to Cuba Fades. Positive experience: This review is not a reflection of the haircut I received, more so the fact that I booked an appointment, received a confirmation email, planned an entire day around this haircut which was in the morning and when I reach the shop, I find it's closed. Called them via phone and no one picked up, waited for half an hour for someone to show up, nothing. So this is the worst experience I have ever had booking a time for a haircut. On the other hand, the actual haircut was the best I have ever received. Period.

Fantastic experience: I just had another 10/10 experience at Cuba Fades. If you want to get a fresh cut and have amazing ambience, this is the place! The first time I went I didn’t have an appointment. Sami stopped his break and volunteered to cut my hair before his next scheduled appointment. Special shoutout to Sami. Sami always does an amazing job with my hair and beard and nails exactly what I have in mind. His attention to detail is incredible.

Negative experience: Cuba Fade Barbershop is one best , the owner Niguel is very professional 4 stars. if I put one stars is for SAMI(Alex )who was unprofessional, he was cutting my 4 year son hair cut today August 27, 2024 Mowak style, but I noticed he was not doing the right way, I told him , he was very rude with me and told me why I'm trying to show he job, SAMI( Alex) you don't disrespect the customer and do your job. I been going to Cuba barbershop almost 3 years, I never had issues. I will recommend peoples to go barbershop, but SAMI disappointed me. I pay my money and drive war way to reach Cuba Fade, you have to learn how to be professional with any customer, if you can't just do something else. I ask him is name is told me Alex, when I check the picture online, is real name is SAMI. Why you lying? The hair cut was very unprofessional.

Negative experience: The haircut was average and I was charged $67. Maybe it’s too expensive for me because I typically do it twice a month. In my 10 years in Toronto, never paid that much for a haircut.

Negative experience: My 16 yo son had a haircut there and was in and out in 15 minutes. They didn’t even wet or brush his hair. They shaved around the sides and cut his bangs. The shaved part is so uneven and looks terrible. They charged him $38 They took advantage of a kid who was trying to be independent and will now be going elsewhere to fix this.
