Fantastic experience: i had the best experience with Jeric! very neat fade! recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have 5 star experiences from my barber. But I have to say, I experienced the most uncomfortable situation when I was waiting for my hair to be cut. While I was waiting a young man who was going bald asked his barber ( James ) for solution to starting to go bald. James said “ the only thing you can do is pray” and proceeded to try to get the man to come to his churches prayer group, and handed him a card. He talked about god the whole time. I’m religious and yet this made me uncomfortable. So I can’t imagine how it would make someone feel that is not religious. Politics and religion shouldn’t be pushed onto you while getting. A haircut. I spoke up and recommended minoxidil which made James very upset, he very rudely said thanks for you input and started slamming stuff around. At the end he asked if the man wanted to take a picture of his church’s information, the guy uncomfortably excepted. When James walked away to get the debt machine I showed the man minoxidil and he asked me if he could take a picture. James was visibly upset and said that minoxidil doesn’t work. As mentioned I’m religious, catholic, and I’ll admit no amount of praying will bring your hair back. It was one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever seen, if it was my first time going there I probably wouldn’t go back, but I love the other guys that work there so I will.

Negative experience: Went there for the first time and they directly gave an intern for my haircut. Never recommend anyone to go there. The intern was super slows and didnt knew anything about haircut

Fantastic experience: Fantastic owner and service from the barber Alger. Happy with my cut and consistent service. See Alger if you want a nice fade from a barber that takes direction well and hears what look you're going for. Alger also cut my sons hair and did a great job. My son is only a year and a half! Thanks Alger and Jake!

Negative experience: My 13, now 14 year old , son was enjoying his cuts until the last couple of times. The last cut the barber was a no show for 30 minutes with us waiting and when he came in to work he proceeded to have someone else cut my son’s hair while doing the person that came in with him. There was something off the time before too and he cancelled on us but we ignored this because his cuts were what we wanted. We were not impressed with the lack of consideration or apology so we won’t be going back! What a way to treat a child… you don’t have to like us because we are quiet and don’t say much but we do deserve better service than what we got. I even tipped …he had the phone number and has texted before when having to cancel…. no excuse.

Negative experience: Got the really nice skin fade on the side that I asked for, but don't ask them to just trim long hair or tell them that you want to keep the length. I've been growing the back of my hair out for 5 months and just lost 80% of the length after telling the barber I'm growing it out and asking for a just a ½-1" trim. And don't come here to have curly hair cut either, they'll cut it wet and you'll leave with it styled straight. Your barbers should learn to listen to their clients and how to cut more than one hairstyle. I can't even style my hair the way I always do anymore it's so short. Won't be coming back here.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with James a few days ago. This was my second visit—my first appointment with another stylist was great, but they weren’t available this time, so I booked with James. Huge mistake. He didn’t listen to anything I asked for, kept talking over me, and completely ignored my requests. The lack of professionalism was shocking. If this salon cares about its reputation, they should seriously evaluate their staff before hiring. Teach him some basic customer service skills, or better yet, don’t let him ruin more clients’ experiences. Never coming back.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hairdresser. James might know how to cut hair, but his strident, rude, and downright unprofessional behavior ruined the entire visit. On top of that, the blatant racism was shocking—disgusting and completely unacceptable in any setting. I can’t believe this place has so many positive reviews; either people are ignoring the obvious or something shady is going on. Avoid this place at all costs.

Negative experience: My husband went in (without me) to get a "trim" of his hair and he came out with NO SIDEBURNS, and his head looked like it was shaved. It was a woman who did this job on him. I could have done the same job with an electric razor. He will NOT be going back there for another haircut. We are SO disappointed and sorry that he went there. His hair looked better BEFORE he entered your shop.
