Negative experience: Bro asked me what I wanted. Did the opposite. Asked for mullet, gave me the highest skin fade I’ve ever seen. Told him I style it forward, he cuts it for the side. Asked me what product I wanted, I said texture powder, bro said nah wax is better for you. 81 bucks for the worst haircut I’ve had in decades. I look like Guile from street fighter. Will not be returning.

Negative experience: Been here many times but the quality has dropped badly. The barbers were too busy chatting amongst themselves in their local language instead of focusing on the cut. I showed a photo of a simple skin fade and walked out with a completely different style, such a bad haircut. Most folks take pride in their craft, but here it's hit or miss. Overpriced, overrated - some people should seriously not be practising as barbers.

Positive experience: *edited* Worst hair cut. We waited over 90 minutes for a “hair cut”. We were charged a fade rate, when he only had the area around the ear clipped. The back is uneven and messy and his hair was not even styled at the end of the cut. Thanks Ali for inviting my son back in to have his hair cut again at no extra cost. While he couldn’t get his desired haircut, Ali explained to him the expectations and fixed the mistakes of the previous cut.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Fade for about 9 months and it just keeps getting better and better. Borna is a real perfectionist and loves to always makes his customers top priority. He makes me feel like a king with his high level of special treatment. You can also tell that they all really like each other and care for each other like a family of brothers. I really find it very entertaining like a performance out in the Melbourne city for a production. Mr Mufty should be in show business. Negative experience: Been there around 5 times, I've always been charged $35 no matter what day of the week. 2 of the times I've been there they have cut it lopsided and once was way shorter than I asked for. I got my usual haircut which is number 2 on the sides and a trim on the top and back because I have a curly mullet which takes no longer than 10 minutes, As I went up to pay I pulled out $35 cash because that's all it ever is and I had only brought $40 the guy said that will be $48 dollars, when asking him why it had gone up and telling him I only had $40 he claimed that long hair costs more (my hair when I went in was roughly 3 inches long at the top and back and it was barely touched) he then also claimed that there was a 10% extra for a weekend haircut and pointed to the smallest writing saying so. In what world does 10% added onto $35 = $48? I've given them enough chances because they weren't anything to worry about to much at the time just slightly inconvenient. I'm a 17 year old student might I add so I think they were trying to rip me off. I won't be back

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to these guys for well over a year now atleast once a month to keep my hair nice and maintained and WONT ever go anywhere else unless I’m on holidays and desperately need trim. These fellas no matter who you get always operate with the highest quality and consistency and I couldn’t recommend them more if I tried

Negative experience: Went in to get my hair trimmed, asked to keep the length and shape the sides, proceeded to take it all off with a fade, cut way too high up, kept getting distracted and after I went home, checked the length at the back and my hair was absolutely a mess and completely uneven on both sides, not worth it and totally unimpressed.

Negative experience: Hi all…. BEWARE! I just had a haircut from this place. Thursday 20th February 2025. 4:50pm. The WORST haircut I’ve ever had. I told the guy that I had a wedding on Tuesday and that I’m the celebrant. That did not cause him to take any particular care. I was in and out of that chair in about six minutes flat, having asked for a skin fade. I got scalped!! Soooooo disappointed. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who bothers about how their hair cut will look. The guy did not take time or care It felt like I was in an out of the chair in 30 seconds, all for $45. I would definitely never go back to the shop.

Negative experience: Although I rarely write reviews, this experience was exceptionally disappointing. I presented him with a photograph that accurately depicted my desired haircut. However, the execution was severely lacking, resulting in a completely opposite outcome. The stylist was preoccupied with their own actions rather than paying attention to the haircut, which was executed incorrectly. I strongly advise against this service.
